This desk has been tremendously helpful since Iāve started working primarily at home. I developed neck and shoulder pain, due to my poor posture while using the laptop in bed, at the table, and on the sofa. Iām also a hobby artist and spent a lot of time bending over sketchbooks. Physical therapist recommended this desk and it is working well so far.The desk is lightweight and easily portable. Iām able to use it inside and while sitting outside. You definitely need to read the directions on recommended settings for the various locations. What works on a sofa does not work in bed or on a table. Once you get the settings right, itās quite sturdy. I took photos of the settings I use most so I can quickly find them on my phone.I also like that I can clip a small book light on it when working at night. The surface is textured, which works well for a laptop and keeps it cool. If youāre planning to write youāll want to put something smooth below your paper.I am very satisfied with this purchase and would recommend this desk to anyone looking to improve their posture while working, drawing, or even reading.

I absolutely love this thing. I bought it with the intention of using it whenever i lay on my back but don’t want my laptop to lay on my chest. I use it laying, sitting, or standing. It truly makes any laptop use so much easier. It’s sturdy, the numbered dials on the side are useful when you’re adjusting the angles you want because this way you can make sure it’s even. Also, I use it just as a small side table when my laptop is not in use and it works fine for that since you can set the table to a steady level. I use it a lot more than I initially thought I would, so I definitely recommend.

I was looking for a laptop tray that would fit over my cat š» and this is great! Itās very lightweight but feels sturdy. I like how it folds up flat when not in use – itās a great space-saver.

I love this!!! My kids love it! I think everyone in the house is going to get one. There is a little learning curve on how to get the adjustments just right, but it only took a few minutes. Now I wonder what I did my whole life without it.

I found this stand a little clumsy to adjust at first, but stick with it. It works well if you want to use while youāre in bed or sitting on the couch, but itās also great for putting It on a desk. I spent the summer working at my dining table and even at a lower level, I was able to tilt my laptop to where it was really comfortable on my wrists and arms.Where this has really helped me was raising my laptop up so the screen was at eye level. A year ago I find out I had five herniated discs in my neck. I had surgery replacing two levels of my spine in my neck. Looking down isnāt great for your cervical spine and this Has helped me avoid that. Being able to put my laptop at eye level while I work my way through grad school has been incredibly helpful. My neck is more comfortable, therefore I can work for longer periods of time. I also donāt worry about not having good posture in my neck while Iām working.I was seriously considering every other stand besides this until I saw it reviewed as one of the best stands on some technology websites. Now I know why. Itās one of the cheapest ones out there, it has a really good height, and itās really functional. I absolutely love this thing!

I bought this and was a bit skeptical that it would be sturdy enough to support my 7.5lb 17″ laptop, my anything-but-petit trackball, and my external monitor+arm. There is a little wobble, but it’s quite functional. I wanted this for a standing desk as I do the digital nomad thing, to use on countertops/tabletops/desks. Fortunately, it fits comfortably in my hard-sided carry-on, so I had to check out the functionality. It was delivered yesterday and I spent a little time last night getting familiar with the settings for different positions and checking the stability with my heavy laptop. It has extraordinary flexibility in configurations. This morning I attached the external monitor arm over one of the support joints, added the monitor, and used the setup all day long. I typically switch the trackball mid-day from one side to the other and usually that means I need to switch the external monitor arm, too. Not so with this configuration because the arm was just out of the way of the mouse surface. Now my mind doesn’t have to adjust quite so much and I don’t have to switch monitor configurations when I shift from one side to the other. It worked surprisingly well. Huzzah!I obviously have no long-term experience with this, and although the support bar (leg?) joints are plastic, It feels like it will have the longevity to serve me for some time if I’m gentle with it. Based on other reviews here, I was very careful to work on top of the bubble wrap it came with until I’ve decided to make it my own. Now I’ll add rubber feet to protect the surfaces on which I work.

I wasn’t sure what I was going to get when I ordered this stand. I tried to do lots of research before ordering one, but in the end I went with customer reviews and I’m glad I did. I wanted one to use when I’m lounging on the couch. It took me a minute to figure out how the legs worked. The construction is very sturdy, and any where except the couch it was solid, but on the couch, it was very wobbly. I should have looked at the instructions. There are recommended leg setting for every setting. Once I actually looked at the instructions and set the legs in the recommended setting for the bed which looked really odd, but when I sat down on the couch with it, no more wobbling. Now, I’m happy because I can work comfortably on the couch, and my cat is happy because he can lay down on my lap while I work. No more bulky pillows that slide everywhere. Yay! I love it.

I love this lap desk. It is super easy to configure to exact needs. There’s a mouse platform you can mount to either side of your laptop. I have pretty big thighs and it fits over and around them perfectly.NOTE: The company that offers these provided me exquisite customer service when I had a package delivered that was damaged. As soon as I requested a refund, it was approved and a new one was shipped immediately. Well done!!

Super fast shipping, amazingly versatile, well-made, portable, excellent multi-tilt and good size, fits perfectly over my lap while in bed, in a chair, lounging by the pool. One of the best investments I have made.

Really helps keep your laptop elevated and prevents your lap from overheating. Takes some getting used to when figuring out the best settings for your needs. Had it since the beginning of Shelter in Place and it’s been sturdy so far. Recommended this to others also. Not the best to use for a standing desk option (kind of wobbly) and you still end up looking down if you down have your monitor on an adjustable arm, so I can’t use it as a standing desk option for too long.
