Thomas E Means –
Very high quality. Works really well for marking and for using as a knife to prevent tear-out. Would highly recommend this tool to anyone that needs a fine line marker & a score for preventing tear-out. The fine micro-adjuster works great especially if you have a dial or digital calipers to set your distance of cut. Highly recommended. Would buy the same tool and brand if I ever needed a new one. Easy to sharpen with a whetstone or some fine wet or dry sandpaper. Very satisfied

How much harder than maple? Appears as pictured. Good grip and balance.

Haven’t used it but feels light in the hand should work great
Sue E –
one piece turned solid maple mallet perfect for wood working and wood turning. Turned in one piece so you do not have to worry about it coming apart.

The media could not be loaded. It has just the right weight to easily cut a block of clear ice after the ice has been scored with my bread knife.
Terry Hess –
It has taken a beating…it’s a mallet…doing mallet type work.
Amazon Customer –
I treated this mallet with tung oil and use it to press my spatula for awesome smash burgers!
Becky –
Well balanced. Grips and doesn’t bounce off if not struck squarely. Weight is good.
Bob –
I opened the package and started using it immediately. I was using it with some wooden handle chisels to take out some material that I feel should have been easy work. The mallet got pretty marred up from the task. Maybe they aren’t meant for that type of task, but it worked nonetheless
Gordon H. –
The mallet is being used for chiselling wood sculpture.
