This was purchased to serve as a table to use for watercolor paintings. I needed a waterproof surface and wanted a stand/sit table that had a tilt top as I like to paint at a 30 degree angle for doing glazes and at times flat. Works well for both. The only drawback was that it lacked a raised edge at the bottom that would prevent paper and other items from sliding off. I remedied that with a $4.80 piece of 1/2″ white vinyl quarter round that I purchased at Lowe’s that was easily cut with an exact knife that I had in my studio. (The table has a pencil holding ledge, which I use and is nice, but it in lower than the tabletop.) I just glued the quarter round piece to the table. Thought I would paint it black, but it looks nice with the white contrast. Easy peasy. Assembly was easy. Took me about 1/2 hour. I am a 69-year-old female with relatively strong hands. Hardest part was lifting the top, no problem without another person, but another person would have been helpful to hold it steady while the top was being secured with the provided screws. This table was better than those sold as art tables for the money.

This table is very good for someone who isn’t necessarily a professional architect or designer, but who wants something slightly over-built without the advanced features that come from professional grade gear. It’s very sturdy, and has sufficient size to accommodate full scale architectural plans. The top adjusts easily and stays where it’s put. Leg room under the desk is more than I expected. The whole desk adjusts from sitting to standing height to accommodate all but the tallest users (I’m 6′ 2″ and was comfortable in either position). The assembly instructions were very easy to follow. Even better, the parts came well-labeled and easy to match with the instructions, which didn’t require text (the diagrams were good enough). The kit came with all the tools I needed to assemble the table, with the exception of a small Phillip’s head screwdriver, which is needed to attach the tool tray. It only took me about 20 leisurely minutes to assemble the whole thing. The tool tray that fits under the desk is ok, but not super roomy, especially when the top is tilted up. Still, it will hold pens and rulers even when the top is all the way up.I hoped that the table would come with clamps to hold the drawings on the top when it’s tilted to full height. I would recommend users plan to buy a set of at least two fairly large plastic clamps to hold drawings, especially if they are stacked. (Plan to have to clamp to a thickness of about 1 inch.)I’m pretty sure this table will last for many years. Overall, a great value. If you need more features with this kind of build quality, you’ll have to spend in the $300-$400 range, at a minimum.

Bought this for my husband for our home office and he loves it. Amazing product for the price. He’s like “how much did you pay for this?” So sturdy and the size is perfect for looking at blueprints or just doing a puzzle if you want. We purchased the black and and I also got him a lamp that clips onto the desk. Definitely recommend

This was pretty hard to assemble, but the instructions were clear. You just had to get the nuts and bolts out of the package (which was hard to get out) and lift parts. I assembled it alone, which was why it was hard, but I’m assuming if there are two people it will be much more easier. Beware, the board is the most heaviest part! I got this table to use as my art board. Kind of sad it doesn’t have any clips at the top or panels on the sides to put my supplies on but I overall really like this table. It’s super sturdy and will definitely not move. Even if heavy things are put on top of it, it’s not going to wobble. Just remember to be careful when you put the table back down because as said before, the large panel is the heaviest part and it might be kind of bad if you just let the panel go (meaning there might be a crash+some big unwanted noise).

Nice and sturdy, Use for school work and a drafting/painting desk. The desk is nice and sleek and isn’t too bulky. Pulling the desktop up and down is easy no need to get up to adjust. One thing that love that even though it is a drafting desk it can lay completely flat and give you plenty of space to work with.

I was very close to dropping almost $200 on an actual puzzle table when i ran across this table. I was lucky enough to snag an open box unit for just a little over $100 so i thought ‘what the heck’. I was very surprised at how heavy duty this desk is. It doesn’t wobble at all and i was even able to mount my articulating light up in the top right corner which totally unaffected the integrity of the table. As an added bonus, I used a jigsaw to cut out a 3 inch section of metal from under my reclining loveseat and now the table actually slides right over my favorite seat, allowing me to sit back and work on my puzzles from my recliner.

Purchased this to use for my jigsaw puzzles. WOW it is perfect – because it lifts up I do not have to stand over the table…bought a rolling chair to go with it. Love my knew fun space!!!

I needed something for the office to lay out plans and plats but since we are on a tight budget, something fairly inexpensive. This table is all of what I was hoping to find. Shipping was earlier than listed and the table was not damaged at all. Unpacking was a breeze. All the components were packed and padded very well. The parts were labeled well and the plans easy to read and follow. Trust me, if you’ve put together a barbie camper at 3am Christmas morning, this is a walk in the park. All of the hardware was packaged and labeled to make location and placement of the fasteners easy. The adjustable were one of the features that I had to have. I utilize this table while standing, but it could just as easily be used sitting in a chair and it’s very easy to adjust. The only problem that I encountered was a slightly misaligned hole for one of the bolts. I quickly fixed this by enlarging the hole using a drill bit. Everything else went together easy and tight. I looked around for what I needed well before I paid any money and I’m very happy I settled on this table. For the money, it can’t be beat.
