I’m 4 months into using this rolling desk, and I am very pleased with it. I use it exclusively as a standing desk then roll it away. I have a 32″ monitor on the upper level and use the tilt shelf for a laptop and the flat shelf for a mouse/trackball.I made two modifications that made it even better. I replaced the 1.5″ castors with a better grade of 3″ caster (M8 size).I improved the front to back leveling of the upper shelf (given that I have it fully raised) by adding two zip ties to bind the front and back shelf support tubes.

For a standup desk, this is probably a great item due to the multi configuration. As for my setup and use though, I am using it for my indoor cycling trainer. My old setup was a tripod with a gooseneck to hold my iPad that controls my Smart Wahoo Kickr trainer. That was OK if that was all I was using. But sometimes I get tired of music and wanted to put on a movie or join a virtual ride with friends over Zoom. For that I needed my laptop as well. Other specific cycling desks start at about $140 for a single top which gets cluttered quickly. This was a great option for almost half the price. I place my iPad on the lower surface and place my laptop on the upper surface. I also purchased a power port that connects to the desk.My only gripe, as others have mentioned, is the slot at the top to run cables through is very narrow and really not useful for running all cables through. This was certainly not a game changer though as the price far outweighs the issue. Would recommend this desk for anyone looking for a multi-height setup.

Ireally like the desk. It looks good, has a small footprint, rolls easily (light) and yet is very stable. The two pieces can drop down level with each other and make a “regular” desk too. Also it has a tablet holder and a place for wires to go through. The adjustable keyboard and mouse trays are a nice feature; I would definitely buy it again and may even get a second one. Although I found the assembly easy, here are a few notes that may help those who haven’t assembled much or if it is a first time:1) Invest in a philips screwdriver with a comfortable handle–they are $1-$3 at Harbor Freight. The package includes a tool but I prefer my own screwdriver.2) Take your time when screwing bolts into metal. There were a couple (2) that did not want to go into the threads without a little pushing and hard turning–this did not require manhandling them, patience is required as you want to make sure you don’t strip it. Just make sure they are lined up straight and you should be okay (after a few turns, they’ll correct the threads for you and the rest is easy).3) Two of the instruction pictures were reversed. This results in the mousepad being on the wrong (left) side, and the top shelf having the tablet slot in the back rather that the front. It is a matter of 4 screws to correct these. Of course if you want a left-handed mouse, then follow it as shown:)Total assembly time: 45 mins (taking time and counting screws before starting).

I’m very impressed with this little desk. It is sturdy, easy assembly…use your own heavy duty screwdriver though. What I LOVE…my laptop has a home finally!!! I gave more room on my lap for my pets (bonus for them). It easily rolls away when I need to get up (I sit on the couch). I can stash my laptop elsewhere, and use it as a table for crafts or to eat. Lastly, the slanting board will be perfect when I want to paint and draw, with places to hold paints, brushes and water.

This is not a perfect desk, but it meets my needs very well. I need to work in standing position (or alternate between seating and standing). I need to get more exposure to sunlight to boost my vitamin D level. The desk enables both. As shown in the picture, I roll the desk into the sunny and warm closet in the middle of the cold winter days. And I now view the closet as my Florida office (without the risk or cost of travelling south :)The instruction can be a bit clearer about the direction of the boards to save time assembling it.Great customer service. Replaced a damaged part very fast.Overall, a very GOOD, mobile desk for the money, strong enough to last until I retire (10-20 years from now).UPDATE: The friendly customer service told me the instruction had been updated already.I have to correct an incorrect assumption I made: sitting next to the window with sunlight will boost my Vitamin D level. I have learnt glass blocks most of UVB rays, and UVB is needed for triggering Vitamin D production in the skin. So this desk is no substitute for outdoor sun exposure! Nevertheless, my mood is more elevated with more sunshine exposure enabled by this desk, so I stand by my rating for the desk.

Updated review: Originally received box with missing parts, reported this to Barley Home and to Amazon and both were willing to send me a replacement within 2 days! Very happy with this result! Customer Service from both the seller and Amazon were amazing. Desk feels sturdy and of quality parts. It easily supports 2 laptops and my fancy mouse – with room to spare for my drone when I plug it in to my computer for charging. Love the versatility of adjusting front and back surface area separately so I can see one screen over the other. The desk also rolls well on carpet and on hardwoods, pulling it close to the sofa is not a struggle at all. So glad I purchased!

I bought this desk 2 months ago and I love it. I like working in my master bedroom because it’s huge and it has a lot of natural light. However, I didn’t want to put office furniture in my bedroom because I already have an office at home. But as I said, I like working from my Master bedroom because of the amount of natural light. This desk was a perfect solution because I can work with my laptop and a big screen at the same time without using a lot of space and when I’m done I can just roll the desk to a corner and leave it there.I did replace the wheel for a better ones. I thought the original ones are fragile and not the best to move around. However, for the price of this desk I think they are just fine. I’m super picky and that’s why I changed them.Super easy to assembly. It took me like 15 minutes to assembly it.I totally recommend this if you are looking for practicality and for a discreet furniture that you can move and hide when you have guests over.

I’m using this stand up desk to record video course from my laptop and needed the camera to be at an appropriate height. I also wanted to have my external keyboard and mouse since that’s they way I have it at my regular desk. This fits the bill perfectly.None of the pieces are labeled on the actual item; so I laid everything out like the instructions had them.Step 1 – easy enough.Step 2 & 3 – do not tighten the Q-clamps, A. because you may want to angle the keyboard and/mouse shelves. B. because in Step 3 – you’ll want to pay attention to which side you want the mouse on. When following the directions, you’ll end up with a left-handed mouse shelf, if you’re right-handed just switch where them, found this out the hard way.Step – 4 need to reverse the board so the pen holder-looking thing is on the same side of the bend of the L-shaped brackets. If you don’t do this, you will end up having the monitor/laptop shelf way over the keyboard shelf.***Step 7 – (DO BEFORE Step 5) – there is no part J it’s actually part A. It took me a minute to realize the “extra shelf” was the Host Holder that you can’t really see in the image of the step. If you lay the stand on its side, it’s easier to screw the shelf in place.Step 5 – get a level and put the shelves in/on their posts, they don’t fit in loosely – which is great and makes it easier to level while not needing a second person holding it up.Step 6 – I only had to put the keyboard barrier on (so it won’t fall off when the shelf is angled).
