The item came on time…no time at all to install…fits perfectly.

  2. Grandma & Grandpa

Oh how simple and wonderful this product is! Well worth every cent! Open the box, slide it out, open out left and right side place over toilet and snap grey foot rest to opposite leg! Bam done ✅ you will love this! My 94 year old handicapped Mother uses this to assist her in sitting and getting up safely! It was exactly what we needed! I was worried that she wouldn’t like the foot pad which aids in stability of the support because she has neuropathy in her feet but never a peep out of her we are both extremely pleased! We have tried other products this is absolutely the best!

  3. Rosanna Clark

I appreciate that this product is portable and I’m able to use it with no adjustments made. I’m stll trying to fold it but I’m sure I will be able to do this soon! Thank You for this product.

After spending some time comparison shopping for a toilet safety frame and rails, I concluded that this one might serve our needs the best. And I’m happy with the decision to purchase this particular product from RMS. Features I like: (1) it arrived folded (which is great for storage) and completely assembled; (2) it fit perfectly over our fairly new toilet (which stands a little higher than most older toilets) and did not interfere with the bidet attachment already in place; (3) the height of the arms is adjustable (in our case, we did not need to raise them); (4) the foot rest at the front is a plus, as it provides more stability when rising off the toilet seat. So far, we are very impressed and very happy with this product.

I have injured my knees to the extent that sitting and rising has become extremely painful. My bathroom is too wide for grab bars to be an effective aid, so I needed a free-standing frame to use my arms to raise myself while my knees are healing. It works great. It is a little narrower than I would like, so I haven’t connected the foot piece to the other side. It is still very sturdy and stable as long as I use equal pressure with both hands. This has been very helpful to me, and since it is freestanding, when my knees are better, it will be simple to remove without leaving any damage to my house. Some have had difficulty seeing how to fold it up since instructions for that are not included. Unhooking the footrest is simple, and then the little buttons that popped through the holes when it was unfolded must be pushed back in when trying to fold it back up. Those with limited dexterity may have to ask for assistance doing that.

  6. Jeanine Valadez

I love this product. I needed a non-invasive way to help me onto and up from my toilet after a total knee replacement. I was not allowed to drill into walls, remove the existing toilet seat and lid, nor modify the toilet in any way. The rails had to be able to move the frame to another toilet if required. I paired this product with this riser: “Homecraft Savanah Raised Toilet Seat, 2″ High Elevated Toilet Seat Locks Onto Standard Toilets.” A match made in heaven! I have enough body strength to properly push straight down when rising from or sitting down onto the toilet, so I do not sense the instability or weakness in the frame other commenters have observed. Also, the bottom cross member on the floor is an ingenious way to increase the stability of the frame. For those of us who need the rails after a knee replacement, that bracket provides a great way to measure your knee’s flexion progress as you heal! The frame is clean and well designed. The white color makes it easy to clean. A great product at an appropriate price point.

  7. Marty Szumera

I have 2 broken knees and I need to keep one leg stretched out when I use the toilet. This item was perfect. It allowed me to sit with my left leg out. It is very sturdy, safe and secure and it never tips. I am 4’10”. I really recommend this product for people who need help getting on the toilet.

  8. Margo Gathright-Dietrich

Safety rail arrived prompty, totally assembled! I did adjust the height of the armrests for our toilet, but that’s very easy using the push buttons — even with my arthritic hands. I very much like the stability of the armrests because of the way the footrest holds them together. I did spray adhesive to the bottom of the foot rest and attach anti-slip rubber mat because it moved just enough to make hubby feel he might slip. That totally fixed the problem. I highly recommend this item because it can be folded for travel! Here are the directions the seller sent at my request:Just above the button with the open groove, you’ll find 2 more buttons. Press both at the same time and the arm will fold toward the center. Make sure the buttons are fully depressed or you’ll have a hard time getting the arms to fold. Also, make sure to do one side at a time. Do not depress the button in the groove, that button is there to make sure the arm is folded the right way.

The frame is more stable than the bolt on style. I added a piece of nonslip cabinet sheet to keep the plastic foot from sliding on our ceramic tile. Shipping was free and timely.

Needed safety equipment for an Alzheimer’s patient and purchased this. Physical therapist was very impressed with it and said it was the perfect purchase.
