These are my second pair. They are the best work boot I have ever owned. Extremely well padded. Great insoles. No rubber delaminated and that usually happens. People walk through certain parts of the sole. Never happened. I nearly walked through my first pair after a year full of walking. The zipper part is really important. It holds up and is very helpful. Save times. Easy to use, boots never come untied and its easy to air out the boot and get them dry. The entire boot is full of padding. They really got this one right. A redwing truck comes to my work and everyone that buys there boots has them delaminate and uses duct tape to fix them and make them hold up until the safety boot reimbursement comes back in. These are great boots. Everyone that has a pair gets another.

First off I’m extremely particular about my boots. I wear them 16 hours a day on a 21 day rotating shift at work. I deal with Lime, acids, bases, fuels and other hazardous materials you can conjure. I used to spend big money on danner boots trying to buy American but feet hurt so bad. It was a godsend that I stumbled upon these. What I like is that they are light weight and durable and the zipper has held up unlike other boots I’ve owned. The seems have held up and the soles are still intact even though I spend a lot of time shuffling across hot asphalt. The only con to them is they’re not waterproof but zipper convenience is a solid trade off after all that’s what my muck boots are for.I highly recommend these boots and believe Reebok read the bad reviews and changed some of the previous problems. Bare in mind I’m flatfooted wearing a size 13 and weighing in at nearly 300lbs and have yet to buy insoles for them. Happy boot hunting.

These boots replaced a pair of Magnum Opus Mids which were of poor quality and construction.(As stated in my review for Opus, stay clear of the Magnum/Hi-tec brand. Boots are complete junk and their customer service is the worst on the planet. They don’t appreciate Law Enforcement or Military contrary to their bogus website)The Reebok boots are well constructed with good quality materials. Boots do have a safety composite toe not to be confused with a steel toe. I do feel safe in them. I’ve used Reebok work boots in the past and they’ve been solid performers. I wore these boots for the first time over the weekend (6-9 hours days). My job as a Range Safety Officer requires lots of standing, reaching, kneeling, and walking. Boots were extremely comfortable with no break-in period whatsoever. My feet were not fatigued and were very comfortable during the course of my day. I sprayed the boots with Kiwi Camp Dry Heavy Water Repellent as I do with all my footwear as it did rain after my shift. Boots repelled all the water and had no signs of water penetrating. There is no indication that the boots are water proof just weather proof so spray them often to conserve them. As of now, the boots feel solid and I’m hoping they continue to perform like they have. SIZING : The boots do run a little big so get a half size smaller. I normally wear a Size 9 but purchased an 8 1/2 regular based on some of the reviews. The half size worked well for me with no discomfort.

Being prior service with injuries. I am really hard on boots. I have to have something rugged with a lot of support. I’ve had these boots for a month, and I’m IMPRESSED! The tread design on these boots is the best I’ve ever seen. They work well in all types of terrain. The leather and canvas have held up so far and the fit is as perfect as it gets. If you have a wide foot, order wide sizes. These boots are designed for foot and ankle support. They are snug. That being said. It took over a week to break them in. The zippers are very high quality also. For being polymer. These zippers are super well made. Since the boots arrived. I’ve logged over 200 hours in them, and can’t find a negative aspect of these boots. Other than the uncomfortable break-in period. We will definitely be ordering more of these boots in the future!

This is my third pair of Reeboks I bought the ultra lights and I really didn’t like them they were much lighter than the rapid response but did not fit the same as a rapid response! So I went and bought another pair of the rapid response and I love them! I’m on my feet all day long at work I walk to and from work and these are great boots are like wearing tennis shoes but with great support on the ankles and your calf and your Arts! They’re waterproof slip resistant they’re just really really great boots! I’ve tried Danner’s ,Rockies all the other Top Line I got Caterpillar I have all all those boots and the Bates all of them I much prefer the Reebok rapid response to all the other boots! Paul S

The perfect boot! My husband is picky about his everyday work boots. He had similar boots that I ordered from Amazon that he had worn out. So these boots were his Christmas gift that he received early. He said they were extremely comfortable.Unfortunately he couldn’t wear them due to the height. He has muscular calves and needs a shorter boot height. Luckily my son has the same shoe size so he got an extra Christmas present. Since these boots were so comfortable, I ordered a shorter height Reeboks brand boots for my husband. Now everyone is happy!

I work in construction and have to wear steel/composite toe shoes for work. The selection for steel toe shoes for women is pretty slim.Saw the Black version of the shoe at the workers shoe store and unisex but they didn’t have my size. Typically for steel toe shoes you are supposed to order half a size up, but these fit perfect with my normal shoe size. Since I have to wear thick socks sometimes I ordered a size up anyways and it works for me.Love wearing these through TSA because of how easy they are to take off and put back on. I typically wear these around the house to when I work outside or in the garage since they are so comfortable. I’ve gotten a lot of compliments on these probably because they don’t typically see girls wearing tactical boots!

I’m a believer!!!I bought these boots in the spring. They’re lightweight and comfortable. Last night, they literally saved my foot. I was on my knees bent over in a trench when a 35-ton concrete truck backed over my foot, stopped, and then rolled forward to get off of it. I thought my foot and ankle were crushed. At the hospital, x-rays showed a tiny break (if at all) and bruising and swelling, of course. Doctors, nurses, everyone was amazed! This was a freaking concrete truck with a full load. If I’d been wearing steel, my foot would have been mangled. The composite material of these boots bent inside and look a little worse for wear, but they protected my beloved right foot. I will NEVER buy any other boot. In the last 24 hours, I’ve probably sold 20-30 people on these boots.

Ive worn nothing but these for years, I just can’t find anything better. I work concrete, so needless to say, I wear boots out quick. These last about a year for me. Which is impressive..They are comfortable out of the box. No real break in required. The included soles are great (I keep them even after the boot is trashed). Composite toe box does not rub or interfere with your toes at all. Honestly I can barely touch it if I curl my toes up. I’ve seen people complaining about the zipper, but I’ve had no issues. If the zipper sticks, clean it out. I’ve tried competitors of this boot like Bates (6-10), 5-11 (5-10), Tru-Spec (garbage1-10) and Smith and Wesson (5/10) and these beat all of them by a lot. I’d give these 8.8-10. I’d suggest getting a rattle can of tent waterproofing and hit these babies with two or three coats. So if you’re in the market for a tacit-cool work boot that will last about a year of abuse. Look no further.

I first bought a pair of these boots when I was deployed to Iraq in ’08. I loved them then kicking through the moon dust and the peanut butter, and after they were no longer military service ready, I still wore them around at home until the soles were slick and the zippers jammed and the seams busted. I was comfortable in them from the moment I tried them on, until the day I had to trash them. I thought they had been discontinued by Converse. I’ve been wearing boots since I got out of the Army, nobody else makes them like that. I’ve worn Merrels and Keens, but I have neuromas in my feet, so I have to have a wide size to fit my orthotic insoles and allow my foot to spread, and neither of them came close to the comfort and durability of my old Converse Moon Boots. Recently, my last pair of issue boots I have left from my time in service have begun to separate at the soles, so I started boot shopping, which I always dread. My feet always hurt after trying on new boots, and I was just browsing online to see what was out there when I stumbled upon these. Turns out Converse sold the pattern to Reebok, and Reebok improved the heel so it doesn’t separate and pull the guts out of the boot when you take it off. I’ve been wearing them for 3 full work days and here and there over one weekend so far, and they are almost broken in. Usually it takes me at least a month plus to break in boots. The composite toe does not pinch in any way, and I was a little surprised. I usually wear a 10.5-11, depending on brand, and I ordered an 11 because some reviews said they ran small, but these fit like an 11. We will see if they last as long as the old Converse, but so far, I highly recommend these. They do have that heel to toe rocking effect, but I like that, because I naturally have a long stride anyways. Hope this review helps.
