Industrial quality at a residential price. Great fall protection device for anyone that has to work on a peaked roof. Easy to install and should last for years whether you’re a professional roofer or just handy around the house. Combined with my safety harness, it was a perfect combination for replacing the roof of my house. Great product that I highly recommend.

Solid and safe. I trusted it with my life for 5 days, and it worked fine. I found the joists in my roof, and screwed into those. I would recommend you do the same and make sure you have really solid fastening.

I bought a few of these to replace the D rings that came with the kits I got. This one is sturdy, nice size ring so it’s easy to use, and will fit two ropes if needed. The multiple holes gives you options where to put your screws or nails so you can find the trusses or deadwood. You can also fold this and put it on one side of the ridge if needed, just put both pieces of metal together and put your screws or nails through the holes that will line up.

Great item at a fair price. And I don’t say this lightly since my life dependeds on it.

Plenty of holes in case you are paranoid like me. I drove like 20 screws into mine to be extra sure it would hold. I use it as a permanent safety mount for rigging xmas lights, cleaning windows, etc.

Used it for strapping / sheathing a metal roof. With the recommended screws in and blocking you could probably pull half the roof off if you had a mind to. Gives you a good idea where to put blocking for a permanent anchor. If you are needing this, you are probably going to use it more than once. Get a decent harness for “fall restrain” & “work positioning”; (ie: side D rings) and lifeline setup. Since I have purchased some equipment I don’t get on the roof without it. I had a friend doing a fairly simple job that he has done many times but fell and extremely lucky he wasn’t killed or crippled for life. Never mind the surgeries, the permanent damage done or the cost. GET IT! Rant done, sorry.

Working great, no problems, keeps you safe

Worked just like it was supposed to. Held my husband in his harness through the whole roofing of the peak of our house. At one point we both tried off too it (although I wasn’t leaning on it, just tried off for safety reasons). Never had a problem with it.
Bolduc Builders –
Just like the ones that came with the harnesses originally that were missplaced by the workers. Not the strongest or sturdiest out there but they get the job done.

exactly what i neeeded as a roof harness support.
