It is always a pleasant surprise when something you buy on line turns out to exceed expectations. This fan is gorgeous, solid looking and quiet. So much of an improvement over the typical ugly big box store ceiling fan. Definitely worth the expenditure.

Put this 88″ fan in our 16’x18′ covered deck and it is excellent. Smooth quiet operation, did not need any balancing on install, and with the size even on low speeds it moves enough air to cool everything down. This is exactly what I wanted so that it’s not blowing everything everywhere but cools a large area. The quality is very good, with real (balsa) wood blades instead of plastic with the metal and smooth fasteners that really add to the look. Installation was a little easier than other fans with everything fitting together easily and well organized parts and instructions. While it is a little heavy because of the size, I was able to do the installation on my own. You do need a pretty large clear floor area to put it together because the entire fan gets built before it is mounted to the ceiling.Overall very good fan and worth the extra cost over others. Nice enough that right after seeing mine the neighbor ordered the same fan.

This is the most beautiful fan I’ve ever seen. I cant believe it’s in my house. I was skeptical about the balsa wood blades, but they were packed safely and are stronger than they appear. It is very quiet and naturally well-balanced. The remote is intuitive and cell designed. The downrod it comes with is very short. We made a custom downrod and mounting bracket adapted to our ceiling. Incredibly happy with this purchase. Absolutely worth +$700.

I had been considering this fan for its architectural design and air moving abilities for our location which has 15′ ceilings.I ordered a used one which saved significantly from the ‘new’ price. Bearing in mind that Amazon pricing on some items can fluctuate week to week I kept watch on it until seeing this offer. The installation involved my running 1/2″ conduit (painted flat black) approx. 15′ to the fan location as it was not previously wired and there was no way to ‘pull’ a hidden electrical feed there. After a significant amount of work on this (I was a contractor for 30 years so really a no brainer, but working at that height, pipe bends and drilling over exposed steel beams made it fun) i installed the actual fan in about 1 hour. excited to see it running I hit the remote and…nothing! I tried every combination of resetting the remote, checking all connections (btw the fan came with leads only long enough for a 12″ down-rod so I had to solder on extensions for my 4′ down-rod) dip switch settings, etc. and nothing. Extremely bummed I contacted the seller and Amazon. Let me offer my compliments to both. The sent along a new remote receiver at no charge and actually credited me an additional amount on my purchase. After installing the new receiver…whoosh! The fan is beautiful, moves tons of air and looks great in our modern home. I am thankful for the great customer service offered that day and recommend the fan without reservations despite my little ordeal. I hope this helps anyone considering this purchase. d

This fan is gorgeous and is perfect for our living room. It is striking but understated and does the job: we all feel so comfortable sitting under those lovely quietly spinning blades on hot days. Our electrician had no issues with installation.

I was a tad concerned about buying a 70in fan. My old fan was a 52in that came with the house. I installed this fan easily, never having done so before. THIS FAN IS SPECTACULAR!! It moves Lots of air and is just beautiful!

The Maverick 52 from Monte Carlo is excellent. It looks amazing with the nickel accents and the dark walnut blades. It was relatively easy to assemble. Most importantly, it is silent when running. The DC motor does a fantastic job keeping the entire operation smooth and quiet. The only noise you can hear is the blades moving the air at the higher two or three speeds. There is no motor noise, no odd balance issues. This is my 2nd Monte Carlo fan and I don’t think I’ll ever buy a different brand from here on out.

The media could not be loaded. What a great fan! A fantastic statement piece for any room. We ordered the 99” Maverick Grand in Walnut/Matte Black and it’s a perfect fit for our 20’ tall, 15’x 25 ft family room. Very quiet and moves air very noticeably in our space. The video demonstrates the slowest and fastest speed of the fan. We keep it on low and can feel air moving through the family room and kitchen, no problem. For those that are complaining of the lack of flow, I believe a smaller, higher velocity fan would better serve you. Those folks probably are used to direct airflow blowing on them whereas this fan very effectively circulates air through the room as a gentle breeze. The only negative is the lack of support for smart controls or wall switches. For this price, that should be a definite feature.*Video shows slowest speed and fastest speed

The fans in the house when we bought it were big with lots of lights and one even had Antlers on it. These are so clean looking and they move some serious air. One is on a six foot down rod and the other on a three foot. A little trial and error with the the balance weights and they run like a top. Weights are visible on top in the one photo.

We installed this fan in our log home. We are off grid so every watt counts. We used it all winter runs 24/7 at low speed. Flawless operation. We have a 20 ft ceiling which causes the warmed air from our wood stove to stagnate in the ceiling. The fan is operated in the updraft mode and causes the heated air to smoothly flow throughout our house without drafts. This was the perfect fan for our needs.
