You get so many carving tools for about $12. This is a great set of carving tools for beginners or intermediate carving skill levels. I wish it came with a booklet for beginners of which tool helps with what kind of carving but overall it’s so great an offers 12 tools whit varying shapes for whittling. I recommend this set.

Not really an experienced wood worker. Bought the set and a mallet and got to work! The chisels work great, having a variety of chisels allow for more versatility for small detail, and the larger chisels for cutting out larger areas.

Review of: **Monkey King Bar-Wood Carving Tools 12 pcs -Woodworking Lathe Chisel Knife with SK2 Blade Hardwood Handles Woodworking Set with Plastic Case for Storage**For $10, this set of carving tools is a steal. Any beginning work worker will be hard-pressed to find a better deal for a set of detail carving tools than this. There is no primary large carving knife included though, so be sure you have a regular knife to use in conjunction with this set of tools to do detail work. The handles on the tools in this set are finished well and the overall weight of each tool is very light.Muy 14 year old son just started carving about 6 months ago and absolutely loves this set. Would recommend with no reservations at all.

Great set. Comes with many different sharp tools.They are well made and sturdy.Easy and comfortable to handle.My son was working on soft woods and they worked perfectly.They come in a box.
