No problems connecting reliably to a 2.4Ghz network. Connection is rarely ever an issue. Installation was just a bit of work but since it’s done there hasn’t been a single hiccup. If for some reason Alexa fails to control then opening the app works fine. The remote functions as a backup but not one I’ve used more than two times in the 5 weeks we’ve had it up. DC motor and 6 speeds are fantastic. It isn’t audible until you get to 5 and 6 settings. App also pushes firmware updates. The only thing missing is local control but I’ve contacted the company and they said it is possible. You just need to sign up for access to the API.I don’t know why people are having problems. Maybe their network equipment or haven’t updated the firmware but there’s no way I’d give this up for the price and features.

Quiet!!Not easy to install comparto another NEW fan it replaced.Solid as a ROCK no noise. Love the look. DC is the only way to go. iPhone app and Alexa integration work well.Only wish it was 56 vs 54 but it works, Great.

We knew it was plastic buying this so we were not surprised like many of the people who have reviewed this product. We have high ceilings to this is great as you cannot see the plastic up close! looks more like wood

These fans are very well built and powerful without being overwhelming. We have two in a screened in deck and they create a great amount of airflow that mimics a strong natural breeze without feeling like your getting pummeled with an industrial fan. I’ve been working remotely for the past 18 months, and these fans keep me comfortable on my deck in 88 degree Georgia summer heat and humidity. The remote has great functionality and looks sleek and modern unlike a lot of the 3 button remotes from other makes that look like cheap afterthoughts. The LED light also puts out a TON of lumens, which is something I was looking for since most LED integrated fans only put out as much light as a 60 watt bulb. The only issue i’ve run into has been an occasional non-response from the smartphone app, but usually turning the fan off and on from our wall switch gets it working properly. Compared to all of the other smart devices we have in our home, the fan has been far more reliable on connection.

Beautiful. Quiet. Love the app but it does cost $10/fan to use the remote function on the fan. That was a little disappointing. But the neighbors are jealous so well worth the extra $20 (we have 2). We’re building a new house this year and we will be installing these fans again

Don’t buy any other fan other than this one. It’s so easy to use. I am obsessed. I didn’t even realize the blades can spin either way. It’s super quiet and I love the remote control. I just leave it on all day. I did not get the lights attached just a fan. I loved so much I buy one for my daughter.

installed in the living room. It’s not silent, but with the tv on you don’t notice the noise. There’s multiple speeds, but any speed above the lowest is too strong. Simple to install. Can’t seem to get the Alexa command working, but that’s not really important to me.

Once my husband pulled the remote apart to remove the remaining plastic battery cover that didn’t tear away with the rest of the plastic, the remote worked fine. Nice looking fan, seems like good material for outdoors. So far so good. Someone else installed it for us so I can’t say about the ease of installation.
