This fan was purchased to help with the heating in our house/converted barn with about 25 foot ceilings. Living in New England it can get nippy in the winter and pulling the warm air down was my goal. This fan does that admirably. We run it in the clockwise fashion (reverse) continually and it creates a nice circulation to pull the warm air from the ceiling down to the living space. We leave it on low and the motor is quite quiet. How quiet? I contacted the company before purchasing and got a spineless BS answer that there was no accepted way to measure the noise. (Anyone who has ever worked with bathroom or kitchen ventilation is well aware that the industry measures the sound in sones as a sone is a linear function where 2 sones is twice as loud as one sone. A decibel is a logarithmic function and so the relationship is not so neat). So, despite the useless reply from the company, I decided to purchase and install the fan. The fan in my computer is louder.Running the fan on high I do hear wind noise. (Someone wrote a review indicating the fan doesn’t move air. I have to wonder if it was on.) This fan definitely moves air. When the hear in our wood burning stove is low, it can feel slightly cool. The remote is easy to use and it is fun to watch the blades gradually slow down when the direction is reversed. (They slow to a stop, appear to think for a moment, and then slowly start back up in the opposite direction.)All in all, this was a great purchase. Time will tell on the longevity.Attached is a picture of looking up at the fan as it is running on low.

Chose to hire an electrician to install because of my high ceilings..25ft. Works great. Quiet. Worth the money!

Works well, super smooth operation and relatively easy to install. Need two people for sure.

The fan is really well built and moves a lot of air! We have it on a 6′ down rod in a room with a 17′ ceiling. It has already made a huge difference in the AC bill. It is so quiet we cannot even hear it running 🙂

I love this fan. It looks great in my living room which has 22’ ceilings. It moves a ton of air. I wanted to keep it close to the ceiling for appearances so I only used a 18” downrod but it has no issues keeping air circulation going through the entire space. Have been using it non-stop for a couple months without issue. Looks good, works good. I’m happy.

Great look and design! Comes with a remote that has built in speeds and change of direction so you don’t have any dangly chains.

Installed 9 months ago and like what I bought so far. Reversed it when it was cold and runs constant at mid speed all year long. Circulates air for our open space just right.

My review is based on 6 months of use. In the big fan market there are few low cost options. You get a 96″ fan that is quite and moves lots of air for a little less than 800$. Everyone who sees the fan comments on how much they like it. I like it too and would recommend it for large rooms with a high ceiling (12’+).
