The media could not be loaded.  These fans are great! They move the air well, the fact they’re in silver was great as they went well with our decor! They are also quiet, well constructed and we didn’t have to balance them at all! I highly recommend!

  2. Robeeen

We moved into our house and all of the fans look frumpy!! I was thankful when our family room fan broke because then I had an excuse to change it to something more modern. This fan is beautiful- we didn’t get the light but it’s perfect. If I had to change it at all I would make it a little bigger because it’s slightly small, but it works! It’s super quiet and my husband says it was easy to install.

  3. AKane

I purchased this fan to install in a remote cabin and I must say, the install was ridiculously easyAfter installing the Minka Aire A245-BS (Sloped Ceiling Adapter for my 8/12 pitch ceiling), I assembled the fan (less the fan blades), downrod, & Minka Aire K9515-1 light kit while on the ground. I then picked up the unit & hung-off in the Ceiling Adapter — which allowed me to finish wiring the fan electrical connections. I had to add one weight to one of the blades to get it to spin without a wobble (5-10 minutes), but I’m really happy with the fan. As quiet as advertised and the power draw as advertised (cabin runs off a Honda 2000 generator).

If you want a classic 4 blade looking fan this is a great choice. Ceiling fans prior to the 1950s almost never had 5 blades; you were most likely to see an even number of blades (4, 6 or 2 in terms of how common). This is one of only a few 4 blade fans that have a pre-WWII look without having to spring for a Hunter Original (which are great, I have one). I bought this particular model for the blade color and then pained the steel parts black so it would fit with an Arts and Crafts home.

  5. YassieJo

This fan was bought and installed in my bedroom, which is approximately 12×16. It replaced an old, but silent Casablanca fan. I initially wanted another Casablanca, but they ran in the $300-400 price range, even for a basic simple style. Although this is a “contractors” model, (hence the low price) it’s still a prestigious and quality brand.I love the color and style, but more importantly the price, craftsmanship and quietness of the motor, makes this fan ideal for a bedroom. The lowest setting is actually silent; medium setting is quiet with a faint hum (barely audible in a very quiet room), and at the highest setting you hear the blades (not motor) cut through the air, which is more like white noise–but not distracting to me. I can feel a breeze in all corners of my room. This fan is solid, no wobble (even on high) and the blades are balanced. It’s worth much more than what it’s priced at and it took under an hour to remove the old fan and install the new fan. I love my new fan!

  6. Layna Berman

Quiet, and it moves air like a champ. We’re using it with a sixteen foot ceiling to move the heat around. We weren’t sure it wouldwork since it’s small. I works! We’re off grid, it’s energy use is virtually unnotoicable. Oh, and it’s attractive and well made and affordable too. Unbelievable.

  7. Sunny Dayz

I purchased 2 of these fans about 5 months ago. I installed them outside under a covered patio. The are about 9 feet off the ground and they move the air rather well. Only issue I have is the finish on the fan BLADES is wearing off, but that is only because they are not meant for outdoor use and i have them mounted outside and I don’t turn them off. I would buy them again and I would recommend them.

  8. JaggedOne

The ladies in the families all think it looks elegant. It works fine, was priced reasonably, and was pretty easy to install, so I’m happy.Actually, if the ladies are happy, I’m happy…lol

  9. JC in NC

Great fan! Easy to install. We just needed to order a 12-inch downrod separately to work with are coffered ceiling. It didn’t wobble at all after install. It’s super quiet and it moves the air really well. The bronze is very handsome looking…
