Instead of writing notes and phone numbers etc on the backs of envelopes and little pieces of paper I keep a bright yellow legal pad around and write everything on it. I have three of them so no matter where I am in the house I have one near. I can always find my notes, confirmation numbers, etc.

Mead is a brand I trust, and they didn’t disappoint. I use these for so many things! I can leave one notepad with a project, and use a second notepad for the next project – like mini-notebooks.

I ordered these and had them shipped directly to my son who is in the military to use for notes in the field. I know that most people will not be using them for the same purposes, but if they can withstand 2-3 weeks in the field then I have no doubts they can withstand general office work. He traveled with them folded in half, and the paper still held in the top binding. FIrst the value for the money was great. The sturdiness and durability were beyond our expectations. Ink did not bleed through, even when using permanent markers.

Love hiw my pen glides over the paper eith writing in script yet is easy to print and grabs without feathering or getting my oen “stuck” NO smears, no bleeding through. What’s the big deal about the brand of the yellow pad you use? Well if you’re like me, my daily notes are kept for legal reasons for several years. I need to be able to refer back to conversations and meeting notes and have a credible, legible source. I have tried all the other brands and store brands and found that this is the best paper. Four key reasons why:1. The Mead yellow pad paper is has a smooth writing surface. Other brands that I have tried have a rougher surface texture, allowing ink from a fountain pen or a felt tip to bleed through excessively. Using a medium nib fountain pen is impossible with cheap paper as the ink bleeds through to the next page and writing becomes illegible. Rougher surface means your writing is harder to read.2. Mead paper does not bleed. Even if you use a rollerball, or a ballpoint this paper will give you better results than other brands.3. Mead is also a brighter yellow which results in better contrast, easier on the eyes. For users of mechanical pencils this is an especially important product feature.4. Mead paper is better quality micro perforated which means it will rip cleanly but it won’t tear off until you need it to. Other brands (because of cheaper paper and perforation) will tear inadvertently and you end up with paper salad.

I am retired and have several degrees. I love to research topics I don’t have a degree in. These are great for note taking and to document questions I need to do further research in. I did the same while in graduate school over forty years ago.
