This is my first light box and I like it. The cord is long enough to attach to my power strip which has usb slots. It doesn’t come with a plugin for the wall so you need a power strip with usb slots or your own plug.I didn’t have to tape my pages down because the screen gripped it pretty well. You still might need to depending on your paper texture but I was happy without having to.I would rather have the brightness at the max when I power the light box on but you have to press and hold the power button to get max light. So far this has been a great addition for my drawing and tracing outlines on watercolor paper. 300lb. I can’t wait to get creative with this.

Someone said it not good for watercolor paper well it is good enough for watercolor paper. I place my fingers on it to bring up fine details up they come through the paper on high. In dark area of my home so please that it does show up… Good for watercolor copying of things.. much better than the window happy that it came working

Um… this is what happens when you lightbox scan your ancestor’s old photo collection, you find out some of them were freaks. lol I really like this thing, no idea how y’all are drawing on it but I’m not an artist. It’s thin, lightweight and I’m no expert at which lightbox is best for scanning old film negatives but i can tell you I tried the monitor method (flipped my pc monitor on back with a photo of white and even-though I have a nice monitor you can totally see the lines so I had to buy something legit if I was going to scan all these. For this price it was soooo worth it. I used my Samsung phone and a couple apps, one specifically for old negatives and google’s scan photo as that worked better for some of them. This photo was taken about 1915 and the woman in the middle looking like she’s trying to figure out why her husband’s laughing like that while taking their photo is Ina, my husband’s Grandmother. Looks like her mother’s trying to figure out what’s going on too. 😉

I had this only 3 days. It comes with USB cord. But no official plug. Problem is some electrical USB plugs are high energy electrical for cell phones and etc. This Light Board uses very little energy. When I plugged a standard cell phone plug for the official cord to the Light board. It was too much energy that the USB plug tip in the board started burning and fried the electrical board. I advise the company making this great product, to get with someone to design a low power plug for outlet so doesn’t burn the interior of the board for over-charge.

I have been working with my LitEnergy Portable A4 Light Board for several days now and absolutely love it! I use mine for diamond painting and it helps me to see even the smallest numbers and letters. I must have at least 20+ reading glasses all over my house, but they are of no help when it comes to diamond painting. The LitEnergy board has made my painting so much easier and enjoyable, and it is much less stress on my eyes and neck. The board is a perfect size for my paintings, very thin and very lightweight to handle, and I especially like the decent size power cord that came with it. I have attached two pictures, one with the light on, and one with the light off! For me, it’s a huge difference. One that allows me to enjoy my craft.

This light pad is awesome! It is lightweight, bright and easy to dim if needed. Great product for the price. I use it for weeding vinyl, and it’s amazing! Makes weeding so much easier because I can see the cut lines so well. Highly recommend.

I purchased this to use for sorting photographic negatives and slides, and it’s going to work out just fine. I really like the adjustable brightness and light weight of the device., and the size is perfect for working on a desk or table. Even the lowest brightness level is enough for sorting negatives and slides. For tracing, it’s great with nice even light. I’m sure I’ll find other uses for this device in time. I’m happy with the purchase.

I purchased this light board as it was one of the more affordable ones on amazon and it had great reviews. I’ve only had it for a few weeks but I love it. It’s very bright. I paint with watercolor and it cuts my outline sketch time down drastically if I use it. It’s bright enough to see the image clearly through 140lb watercolor paper. And I feel confident that it would work with thicker paper as well. It is dimable, though I personally only use the highest setting. It is very light and thin, and just slightly larger than average printer paper size. It requires being plugged in to use. I don’t mind being plugged in, but the cord is pretty short and probably the biggest drawback honestly. However, I’m sure you could use a portable charger to “solve” the short cord issue. I use to use a glass table and a flash light as a makeshift light box. This is 1000x better, it’s easy to use, takes virtually no time to set it up, and stores super easily. I’d say it’s a must have for any art hobbyist.I’ve attached images of the light pad working with 140lb watercolor paper. And the final product of a painting when using the light pad.

The media could not be loaded.  The tracer was very easy to use. All it needs is a light tough. One tap to turn it on. Tap and hold to brighten then tap again and hold to dim. Tap one to turn off. Super easy. The drawing paper I use is kind of thick and the dimming of it makes it very easy to use. No eye strain. I used it in a sketchbook. Since its so thin I can just pick it up and put it between the pages. I like how the tracing paper just sticked to the device so I didn’t have to tape it down to keep it from moving. I don’t know if it will work for all kinds of paper but it worked for that.I would definitely recommend it to a friend or give as a gift.

I frequently draw designs for home projects. When I’m not satisfied with a design I have to start all over on a new page. Even scanning and printing the basic design doesn’t often match up and is frustrating. I found myself holding papers up to the lamp and putting dots at corners so I could connect them with a ruler. Well, you can imagine how that worked. Yesterday I gave up and said to myself “Self, there has got to be an inexpensive device that can do this for you, even if it turns out to be a kid’s toy.” I turned to trusty old Amazon and here it is.Incredible. Right out of the box, the USB cord is about 4 1/2 feet long. Plenty long enough to plug into my computer. The screen light came right on. I used 8 1/2 x 11 printer paper for the original and the trace. I placed the original on the screen and then the new sheet on top and the lines of the drawing showed through clearly. I was able to copy the original quickly, making my corrections on the fly. It came out perfect. For storage I put the screen back in the foam wrapper and slid it back into the box. I read were somebody had a problem getting the plug in and out of the side of the screen so I just left it in. When you slide the screen back into the box there is enough room at the end of the box to fold the cord a couple of times and close the box.I don’t normally write gushing reviews like this but this has got to be the best ever device for my project designs. Even better – no more messy correction fluid for minor adjustments. Just put a fresh sheet of paper on top of the original and bob’s your uncle.
