The spacer do the job well the hammer is nice with the two sides because some time you did not need to hit metal bar with as much force the bar is a must have to pull the last piece of flooring closest to wall it’s has soft pads on it so you don’t scratch the floor when you use the bar to go under the wall to pull the last piece together I do not believe that I could have pulled the seams together as tightly as i did with out this bar . I have installed flooring before but this was my first time ever using vinyl flooring . I found that getting the last piece to lock in place could be hard I found that using a small block of wood to angle the the part of the bar I was going to tap on up would help angel the bar closest to the wall to help pick the plank a very small amount to allow you to close the two pieces of flooring together and it locking in place perfectly . The small block is just right the grove in the block protect the locking seam. I suggest that after you cut your first pice of flooring to make your staggered joints to experiment With the block so you see how easy it can be to damage the locking joint I found that as long as it was not the end of the plank that you could have a small pice damage in the middle and the other two good side would hold the plank in place excellent. Just a reminder if you damage a plank you can always cut it to help move your flooring seems Around the room everything thing I have read told me to try not to fall in to a pattern that by moving the seems around the room helped make the flooring so much stronger. Let me add one more thing the vinyl flooring installed said I did not need to buy any type of Barrier between the cement slab and the vinyl flooring but I read one installer that said he put Visqueen On the floor first because in his 50 years of installing flooring he said he had never found a room that was completely square. By put the Visqueen between the slab and the flooring. This would allow him be able to move the flooring to be able to get the seams in the flooring and the wall to look square because the flooring would slide on the Visqueen . He also talked about cracking in a home slab years later And for the small price I cut out a pice and duck taped it in place. It allowed me to move the flooring to get one complete plank between the wall and make the flooring look grate to include a small pice I cut to but in the door was . I will be sharing so photos. I do apologize for my review being so long but I have learned so much on this floor and I wish I could just tell everyone that is putting it in for the first time so I hope this helps any one that has read this far best of luck.

We bought this package after watching a video online on how to install laminate flooring. We are by no means carpenters, but we do pride ourselves in doing what we can (and it is a heck of a lot cheaper). This package had everything we needed to get the job done with the exception of a carpenters square (hint, hint). We still have not completed the hallway as the wife works nights and I am taking care of a 15 month old. So needless to say, time is a premium. I am sure, however, after we tackle the hallway the rest of the house will be no problem. I loved the fact that everything was in one place rather than having to run all over town to different stores to find all of the components (which is what we started out doing until the wife suggested Amazon.) Hopefully I will remember to post a picture after we are finished with the hallway (unless, of course, it looks terrible- wish us luck! I would recommend this to everyone who has the guts to jump into something they have no idea of how to do. Peace.

I purchased this kit not really for installing the floors myself, but to fix the already installed floors. There are some disassembling, which I was told is the nature of hardwood floors, and I used this kit hammered the disassembles back and left adjunction of the floor and wall wider, which I later used 3/4 molding covered it. Right now the floor looks great again, and hopefully, they can maintain this status. I found this kit very helpful, especially the hook. I hope there is some information can help and thank you for reading this review.

This kit was a life saver and something I didn’t realize I needed for our vinyl plank floor installation. It had more than enough spacers, the pull/rap bar worked perfectly, and the hammer block is notched appropriately for either the side if your planking. Tip for vinyl planks: this isn’t a dig on the product, but when tapping the block on the tongue side of your plank, don’t get overzealous with the force or you make crack the tongue off.

Worked perfectly for installing Shaw laminate floor. The spacers are great, and the ‘bar’ more than strong enough to get the job done. The little hammer is cute, but essentially useless for this type of job.

I’m glad that I bought this set. It was very helpful. The triangular wedge was helpful in tight spot. I also bought a set from the Home Depot that had a rectangular wedge. It didn’t work in all places. However, the set from Home Depot had a sturdier metal bar. We used both sets since my husband and I were both installing. We had about 1200 Sq. Ft. of flooring to install in multiple rooms.Biggest complaint is that the ends of the hammer screw on. I didn’t realize this until the one tap I made with it and the yellow end fell off and promptly rolled right into the air duct where I couldn’t reach it of course!I can laugh about that now. It wasn’t so funny the day it happened. 😉

Pull bar a great necessity, along with the mallet and spacers. Did not really use the tapping block much but better to have it than not to have it. Al functioned as expected.

Came with everything need to install a floating laminate floor except the saw and brains, was great to use, one con though the pull bar didn’t last. BUT I installed 1000sf of flooring with it so that should say something for the kit it lasted I just rebent the pullbar and it was good to go……

My wife and I decided to put in a laminate floor. The goal was to complete the job as cheap as we could, but make the room we were installing the flooring in look 100 times better. Most of the supplies we got were purchased at the orange-colored hardware store. We saw a kit that had a hammer and some spacers and a few other things, but it was too much. Whenever we run into this problem, we say “let’s check Amazon.” Thank goodness we did. This kit came up and was much cheaper. It had solid reviews and appeared to have everything we need to get the job done. The hammer is light, but you aren’t building a house here fellas. It’s can make enough impact to get the pieces to lock together, which is what we needed it for. The spacers were perfect for putting around the perimeter.I recommend this product.

Had been trying to lay my click & lock engineered flooring without this tool because my first Amazon order never arrived. When my replacement order finally got here I opened it immediately and started using these Rexbeti tools. Should have waited for the tools — made laying hardwood so much faster, easier and “tighter.”The “tapper,” block and puller are ALL exceptionally useful. Will not lay another sq ft without them.
