I use this in conjunction with a roof anchor to blow the leaves from my gutters. This is very well built with good climbing rope and is easy to move around. This is a fantastic safety device!

Harness fits a 5’10 200lb guy great with room to spare and the set had everything I needed from a safety perspective to get on the roof and remove some moss. The rope is a bit stiff and rough to the touch but otherwise I wouldn’t change anything. Great set for a homeowner looking to work on their roof!

I had to replace my roof and I’m not a fan of heights. I’m fine at 12 feet, but 20 feet puts me well out of my comfort zone. But the job needed to be done. So I bought two of these kits so I could use one and one of my friends could use the other. We rigged the ropes along the ridge line using the included chain plates. The included hardware is everything you could need. The only improvement I would suggest is a tether from the tie-in point on the back of the harness. You definitely need help clipping in otherwise. Even the included carrying bags came in really handy moving gear up to the roof!

It does nick up kinda easy so watch out for sharp corners & edges. It works as described and it makes OSHA happy, that’s all that matters.

Had to do some work on my roof which has a steep pitch and is about 30ft off the ground. This thing made me feel safe with the rope I had. The only downside is the clasp is in the back and it would have been nice if one was on the front.

I used the lifeline while perfoming work on a very steep metal roof.I attached the lifeline’s spring hook to an F-150’s towing hitch and the rope grab’s spring hook to a full body harness’ D-ring. The rope grab worked flawlessly. The lifeline sure helped reduce the challenge and stress associated with performing the repairs on the steep roof.

We bought this product to service our very large roof. It was a challenge with the hook being on the back, took some getting used to. But . . . if my husband would have fallen, it would have kept his back from being hurt by the hook being on the back. It was very successfull and the job was completed. Instead of hiring someone to do this job, my husband, age 57 was able to winterize our roof. We also bought magnetic boots. The combination, made him feel able to safely do the job. Could not find any company with the manpower available to a roof service job. So we now can do it ourselves for years to come. Saved us money!!

Great set up for the occasional roofer. If I was on a roof daily I’d upgrade. Most people will be very well off to buy this set up. I’d buy the exact same thing tomorrow. Highly recommended.
