I got this for camping.My husband is a survival enthusiast. He has seen these used on those television shows and has been wanting his own for a while.It arrives ready to use, except for the need for a small stick to place in it as a handle to use it as a drill.The stick is just something you get off the ground, nothing special needed.It also comes in a nice carry pouch with a snap and a carabiner so you can attach it to a camping bag.To test it he used his trusty stick (lol) and the tool, to drill a hole in 2X4. It is very sharp and drilled right through it.Easy to use and no issues.He wanted to at least test the peg and hole ability these are supposed to be able to do.He drilled a hole in a stick that he found in the woods and then created a peg that fit perfectly into the hole he drilled.He said he was really happy with the tests and that he could make a chair with it in about 20 minutes..We would buy this again!
