I had two of these fans installed by professional electricians who commented on what a great fan this is because it did not wobble or make noise, as many of them do. We were surprised that a light was not included. I mistakenly thought the picture showed a light—it does not. Took a lot of searching and a call to the company to find a proper light kit, but they do exist. One review suggested turning the logo to the back side where it can not be easily seen, which I thought was a great idea to give a nice clean look on entering the room. The fans have greatly improved the comfort of our upstairs bedrooms in the summer. I am very pleased with this purchase.

This fan is exactly what I wanted–low profile, super quiet, very efficient, looks beautiful, very powerful, easy to use remote control. I didn’t want or need a fan with a light, so that is why I choose this model. People need to read the specifications carefully before they order this fan—it says very clearly this fan has no light! This is perfect for my man cave downstairs with a popcorn drop ceiling. I only need to use speed “1” for the space, but if you want there are 2 higher speeds.

I have recently installed three Hunters in my town home and I think I will install one more. I am an Old Fart. I’m thinking maybe I should install the forth one while I have tools, the talent and can remember the installation instructions!

We have 8ft ceilings and wanted a low profile ceiling fan that would match our farmhouse. This fan is perfect. I love the all white, it blends in with the ceiling and helps it not look quite so low. Of course we could flip the blades around if we wanted the light wood look. I am very happy and will be buying more for the entire house.

Works well in the low ceiling master bedroom in our new loft style condo. Our master is just below the loft level and has a slightly lower than standard ceiling height. I had to hunt down low profile fans that would work over the bed. We’ve always had a ceiling fan in each bedroom in the past and definitely wanted one in our new place as well. I set this up with the Bond ceiling fan controller so that Alexa could control it. I am not able to leave a review for Bond for some reason – says no reviews are being accepted – but love that thing as well. The electrician who installed this fan had to run power to the center of the ceiling since there was no existing fixture there already. It was interesting to see how he brought power from a hard-wired smoke detector nearby. He also asked me whether I wanted the little Hunter logo thing showing or not – which I did NOT – so he made it face the headboard wall. Otherwise I would have had to figure out how to remove the unsightly logo.Also I definitely did NOT want the ceiling fan style where you see the brackets holding the blades. Our condo is very contemporary and the existing fans are all from Modern Fan Company and have hidden brackets. Looks sleeker that way.Does not produce as much wind as the others in our condo – I believe this is related to being low profile – but plenty for our bedroom, especially since the ceiling is lower than 8 feet.

Had trouble finding a large, white, ceiling-hugger fan at the big box stores. Amazon to the rescue! Our electrician installed it in less than an hour, and its very quiet, nearly disappears into the white ceiling (I hated the former wood and dark bronze one that we had in the same area) and easy to operate. Highly recommend.

Love the fan: the low profile, contemporary look, moving air very well. The remote: the bight flash when turning on is very shocking and disconcerting-esp if using during the night ( dark). The bright blue shut off light is also bright, but not as crazy as the white ‘on’ lights. Cannot understand the need to be so bright!!
