This is a very nice quiet fan that does exactly what it describes itself to do. The only con I could find it that is it seems to spread air wide instead of straight down. I have this in a home office and sit under it I lean out to the side of my chair I can feel the breeze but if I sit directly under it it’s very subtle air movement.Overall though I really like this fan It is well designed and quiet. Installation of it was not all that hard either I did it myself.

After searching all the big box stores and all over the internet, ordered this for $89 from Amazon.Pros:This fan puts out! Moves more air than my six other fans, which are all of bigger diameter.I have Harbor Breeze, Hampton Bay, and another Hunter, and this one is the quitest.Fits great in a small room. A 34″ fan may look too small in a big room, but in a bedroom it looks great.Looks great, really good quality.Pull chains are long enough for more 5″ tall wife to reach (only one in the house that she can)Puts out good light with the 2x candelabra bulbs (supplied)No vibration out on the box. Hunter is the only brand I bought that didn’t wobble until balance. I used the supplied balancing “kit” on another fan that I had that was wobbling.Cons:Not the easiest fan to install. If I did it again, would be much quicker. Not “flush mount”, it does hang off the ceiling down to 18.5″, at the bottom of the light so don’t expect a “tight” fit to the ceiling.May look “small” in large rooms. But, bottom line, it is cheaper and puts out more air and is quieter than anything else I have and it looks really good, so I would recommend and buy again.

I’m sorry I waited so long to install ceiling fans in our house! We have a small house with central air, but there’s no circulation – the air in the house is just stagnant and the central air isn’t distributed evenly. I did a ton of research on blade pitch, size, etc and decided this was the right fan for my daughter’s 10 x 11 room (even though everyone said it was too small to make any difference). I am a woman in my 30’s and did the installation myself. What a learning experience. I bought a brace to fit between the ceiling joists only to find that my ceiling joist was flush with the small ceiling hole. I had to go up to the attic to screw in an electrical box I found at Home Depot that is meant to install to the side of a ceiling joist (Westinghouse Lighting 0124000 Sidemount Plus Fan Box, 2-1/8 Inch Deep) which was the perfect solution to my problem. I screwed that into the joist, then realized the wiring in my old house is colored differently than the instructions (my “blue” wire is actually red, my “white” is actually beige, and I don’t use the black ones at all) I just sent videos of the wiring to my dad that I took when it was still attached to the previous light fixture and he told me how to hook up the wires. Once that was done, the actual installation of the fan was a piece of cake! It works perfectly, very quiet (my 19 year old daughter commented on how quiet it is compared to the stick fan she’d been using) and pushed a ton of air through on both medium and high settings. It is actually PERFECT! It’s sturdy and looks great in her room. I just bought the same fan in the dark wood color for my room which is the same size and am so excited to get it installed that I paid the $16 for next day shipping! Now that I know how to do it, I’ll have it done in less than 2 hours this time! If you have a smaller room you’ll love this fan! It’s quiet, pretty, and pushes a lot of airflow with it’s 13 pitch blades.

This fan is doing an exceptional job in my back bedroom. Granted the room is small but the previous fan has been worthless for years. I read the reviews & decided to try this one & I’m glad I did. It creates a really nice breeze & the sound is not annoying — more of like a background white noise sound which is acceptable for a bedroom.I have a very large expensive fan in my living room — it was on sale for $400 & it also creates a true breeze that keeps the room comfortable but I didn’t expect this small inexpensive fan to work this well. Be careful with the light dome — it easily cracked during installation but Amazon sent a new fan out immediately. Very pleased & now I’m looking at replacing the other two fans that are also almost worthless & install this one.

Bought 2 of these when we remodeled our house. We do not have air conditioning and these fans really move the air. Loved them so much that we bought another to put in our bedroom. They really are very quiet, considering how much air they move. Love that they are lower profile and don’t hang way down from the ceiling. Really like the shorter blades as well. There is nothing about these that I don’t like!!

I installed this myself on Saturday. Its a methodical process putting a ceiling fan in and you need to have some knowledge of electricity to do it safely. If you have an older home., on the bracket to hold the fan you are probably better using a stouter screw for fastening the bracket to the ceiling. I have a wood ceiling in the room I put mine in, and I used an impact driver to install hex head screens through the bracket to make it totally safe. As it is, the fan isn’t too heavy to begin with (20 lbs) so if you have a reinforced ceiling bracket already its not an issue.Instructions to install were reasonably clear, though there wasn’t much info on the ‘extra’ down rod included, and the decorative cap that comes with the unit in case you elect to not install the light kit. Both of those led to some confusion on my part but I figured it out.Overall, the light is a nice size, nicely detailed, runs great (quiet) and pushes a lot of air on the 3 settings for the fan. The light overall is LED bulbs and it is bright. Its a little pricey over $120 but it fit my room fine, so I’m a happy camper!

Perfect fan for a smaller room. I originally planned to order a standard-size fan, but then saw a buyer’s guide from a fan company that made me go back and measure my room and reconsider. I wanted this fan for a 9×10 bedroom with 8 ft ceiling, and a standard 52″ fan would have been ridiculously big. I looked at the 42″ ones with longer thinner blades than this fan but their proportions bothered me aesthetically, and they had mixed reviews for performance. When I saw this model I really liked the overall balanced appearance, and the reviews were good so I ordered it. Sooooo glad I did! I was worried about how I’d like the included light kit and was very pleasantly surprised, it’s a very soft pleasant light and it goes beautifully with the fan. Putting it together did take a while, but I think that’s true of all fans. My husband installed it with the Hunter 99122 Universal 3 Speed Ceiling Fan/Light Remote and it paired instantly and the remote works great with this fan. The fan is VERY quiet and operates smoothly. The first speed is perfect for overnight, providing a gentle breeze. The 2nd speed is wonderful and still quiet, and will definitely move plenty of air around. The 3rd speed is vigorous and did cause a slight ticking noise which I think is the pull-cord tapping on something – I will try to secure the cord if I decide to use the 3rd speed but I think I will be happy just using speeds 1 and 2. The light, as I mentioned, is very attractive and the dimming function is wonderful in a bedroom. I am just thrilled with the fan and light. I’ve attached 3 photos of it installed.

Love it! Used in small home office that has pine furniture. Looks and works great. Very happy with purchase.

I have a layered ceiling and one front room is tiny, so the area for a ceiling fan is small. This fan fits perfectly into the tiny area and my wife now has a nice breeze when sitting there. The fan is nice looking and absolutely silent as far as my hearing can tell – I have to go look to see if the fan is on – we run it on medium. At high speed I can hear it but its not loud.Installation was not smooth, but not because of the fan. My ceiling electrical box was too small and did not fit the fan bracket so I had to install a adapter to get the bracket up (adapter was not included in fan kit). In order to use the adapter I had to loosen the ground wire on the bracket and turn it. Once I was past step 1 it was fairly easy to install by myself. Be sure you have two screws in your junction box – they require you use the existing screws and do not supply you with extra. You can use one of two different extender sleeves but both are fairly short. I used the shortest, the longer one came setup ready to use. If you have to move parts – just remove the top screw and tings will slide apart. Be sure to look at it so you can put it together correctly on the other sleeve. The hardest part was moving the ground wire – it was FIRMLY screwed in and hard to loosen.Wiring was a breeze and they made it especially easy. You can install just the fan or the fan and lights. You can connect the fan and lights to a single switch, or if you have a dual switch setup you can use one for the fan and the other for the lights. Make sure you connect ALL of the grounds, there are two ground wires in the fan kit that need to go to your ground wire. All necessary hardware (wire, wire nuts) were included.Installing the fan blades was more difficult than it needed to be – screws are close to the fan clasp edges so you are trying to hold a fan blade assembly, get a screw started into an area hard to reach, and use a screw driver at the same time. It is doable, just more difficult then it needed to be. With two people (on two ladders) it would be much easier.Installing the lights was very easy, but getting the bottom glass globe and the pull chains right is a balancing act. Be sure the fan chain goes through the provided hole at the top of the light fixture or it will not work correctly – it will refuse to pull as it will be kinked against the glass globe. So before raising the glass globe, get the fan pull chain through the correct hole in the light attachment and it will be moved close to the center. Then raise the glass globe, the plastic globe retainer, thread the chains through the bottom clasp and screw on the bottom. If you have done all of this correctly both chains will pull easily. If they seem to be jammed, then you have the wrong hole or forgot to use a hole entirely. The fan seems well balanced right out of the box – there is only some slight shimming at high speed and none at medium speed. Fan is very quiet. The amount of light produced is adequate for a small area. You will be using two small 600 lumen LED bulbs (provided with kit).

I have to say I was initially upset when I opened the box to see this fan had such small blades. I was expecting small-ish, but not this small. I was thinking to myself “this thing won’t move any air”. Nevertheless, I went ahead and took down the old, ugly and noisy unknown brand fan and installed this very quality product. Despite the sub-$100 price tag, this fan is very well made with a substantial motor assembly encased in metal, beefy metal parts and a very nice finish on the fan blades. The chain pulls glide easily and have nice heavy pendants on the ends.Well, I was pleasantly surprised when I turned the fan on and with absolutely no noise at medium speed, this fan provided more airflow than the fan it replaced on high speed. This is high quality product that you will be proud to have in your home. I just realized that with this replacement our home now has five Hunter fans. I guess I’m a Hunter fan!
