It’s a beautiful fan! I needed a fan that I could attach to power where no switch was available. The remote made this fan perfect. It’s stylish, quiet, and moves a good amount of air.

Pay attention to the directions and it will go easier. This is a great fan. My second Westinghouse because the first one did so well and this one did not disappoint. Runs nice and quiet (other than the sound of air moving on high) and is balanced perfect without using the weights. Be sure to sync your remote. I thought I knocked a wire loose and took the entire thing down before I read the directions and all I had to do was hit the “learn” button on the remote. 🙂 A great fan at any price……….

A few years ago I had a bad experience with a very cheap fan that was noisy. After that, I wanted to stay with name brands. Unfortunately, that didn’t work out as expected. Within two years of install the name brand went out and I had to buy a replacement wiring kit from the manufacturer. They said it was the issue. Of course, it didn’t work so they replaced the fan, which was a good thing. Only out $40.00 for the worthless kit they would not take back and 2 difficult installs on a 12′ ceiling which is not any fun. That alone would have cost a couple hundred if I paid to have it done. Later I helped friends install other known but lower-cost fans that worked great so I decided to save some money this time. For this purchase, I wanted a modern look and remote control, which this fan has. While this is a well-known brand I had not seen any of their ceiling fans before. It was very easy to install and everything fit exactly as one would expect. The fan is quiet and has great airflow, plus a very nice remote control. The remote has more options than I expected and a nice quality wall mounting plate. Fit and finish are both excellent. It came with 2 LED bulbs, 3000K color temperature, which I assume are not adjustable. The instructions say you can vary the brightness using the remote if using adjustable LED bulbs. I found it odd they would not have supplied adjustable LEDs. Anyway, that is an easy and cheap fix.I purchased a 2nd for another room. Overall I feel this was an excellent value.

Absolutely love this fan! Was exactly what I wanted. The remote is so easy to use and has by far better features than I ever expected!! There is a breeze mode that makes the fan create what feels like an outdoor breeze. High, medium and low normal fan settings. A walk away light feature that turns the light off 1 minute after pushing. And it looks amazing! It was a little challenging to install but only bc my husband tried to do it his way and not follow the instructions. Ha! Follow the instructions and it is a easy. I would recommend this one for sure!

Didn’t take my electricians very long to hand, but it’s very noisy.I’ll have to see if it can be corrected

I’ve bought and installed dozens of ceiling fans over the years for my various homes, rentals and family members. I’ve spent as much as $600 on some but have never gone with the budget models under a hundred bucks. My priorities for a fan is it must move as much air as possible as quietly as possible with as little draft as possible. It is also mandatory that it be reversible. My new home (which isn’t brand new) came with basic contractor grade fans in every room, which is great because all of the mounts and wiring are already in place. But the fans were ugly and noisy and used pull chains for the light and fan speed. And they were white, which only works for me on a few very unique decorator styles. My preference is satin nickel with either gray or black blades. I actually don’t like built-in lights but newer fans have them so well integrated as part if the design lately I’m choosing fans with them for the practicality of being able to light up the entire room.Fans are subject to the laws of physics – the larger the blades and the faster they turn the more air they will move. But physics is a tricky thing. I have one fan with aerodynamic blades that moves more air when barely turning than some fans on full speed. With a ceiling fan the blades are everything when it comes to efficiency. This one only has three blades but they are lightweight plastic and aerodynamically shaped so they move a lot of air almost totally silently. Plastic blades are not a bad thing, if they are made right they can be far more efficient than thin flat wood ones. Their lightness puts less of a load on the motor as well. I like that each blade is securely attached using 3 heavy duty bolts with locking washers, making them more safely attached than many other models I have owned.I like this model for other reasons too – it is packed with features for the price, like a three speed remote control, a remotely dimmable light, a timer and an easily accessible reverse switch (on the motor housing not the remote). Oddly it comes with two old-fashioned spiral CFL bulbs but you can replace those with standard dimmable LED or incandescent bulbs if you want to.I’ve sometimes heard concerns from some who are less technologically inclined about remote control fans that if they lose the controller they won’t be able to operate the fan. Not true. Almost every ceiling fan is pre-wired to be used with a multi-speed wall switch and light dimmer. The remote is a small add-on accessory that stuffs into the cowling that connects to those wires. If you want to install the fan without the remote or convert it later simply remove the accessory adapter and you have a non-remote fan. Besides that, replacement controllers are available at all major hardware stores. This is the second Honeywell fan I’ve bought recently and I am pleased with the quality and value for the price. I would certainly choose them over a no-name brand. I think they are about as good as Hunter fans but not in the same league as Casablanca, which of course are much more expensive.Installation when replacing an existing unit is an easy 30 minute job, everything you need for a ceiling hugger, short hanging rod or sloped ceiling (except the bracket) is included and if you prefer a longer rod it is a standard diameter that’s easily available at any hardware store. I offer one opinion on hiring a “professional” – they aren’t always the best source of information, they want to sell you parts and labor and aren’t above knocking products that are “customer supplied”.If you are looking for a fan that can move large volumes of air this certainly is it, on high speed it is a turbo wind tunnel. And if you are looking for a fan that is totally silent while you sleep yet circulates air efficiently without a draft this is also it, at slow speed I can’t hear it at all right over my bed and there is zero draft yet keeps me refreshingly cool. This model ticks all of the boxes and is surprisingly affordable. I recommend it.

I liked this ceiling fan when I saw a picture on Amazon… I ordered.. but it is more beautiful seeing it physically. Stylish, run smoothly, it blows a nice breeze. It comes with a remote control which is very practical and with many features…. I installed it with my hubby but it was not easy… We are DIY’s individuals… but this was a challenge. Instructions for installations are very well explained.. and the fan has many updated electric shortcuts to ease the assembly. It needs to be installed by two people because the housing is heavy. But at the end the results were really worth it…. If you are not a DYI person hire someone to install it. We are very excited and happy with the product.

Got it October 21st put it up that night (took about 45 minutes had to take original light fixture out too) the fan comes with 2 soft white dimmable led bulbs A15 size E26 base, the dimmable feature is a nice addition. This fan moves a lot of air quietly…except on high as others have stated it does sound a bit like a helicopter but it’s not a deal breaker I find medium to be the ideal speed. Blades work great in forward or reverse, I’m not sure of the angle of the blades but they seem to be the perfect angle. I can feel air moving from the fan from around 10-12 feet away from it. I was hesitant on this fan I will admit but I couldn’t be happier. I plan on buying a few more for the house. Remote works nicely, it’ll also work behind walls and closed doors, just found that out, so if the fans/remotes are all the same if you had multiple of the same fans, you might make some people upset.. Hopefully this will help you, overall I love this fan happy I took a chance on it and bought it

I really like this fan it blows a lot of air. installation was a bit hairy but I am not a handy person when it comes to stuff like dealing with tools, but reading the instructions explained clearly how to do it. It is very powerful like some reviews said. When it is on high it can make a bit of a whirring sound but I like a little bit of background/white noise. It isn’t so loud that it is disturbing. All in all I am very pleased and surprised at the power from only three blades….other five blade ceiling fans in my home don’t circulate as much air on high as this does at medium. Even on low I can still feel the air several feet away. Also, none of the blades have gotten or broken off. The motor and blades are heavy and sturdy I don’t see how them breaking off could happen unless people attached the blades so tight that they crack. I’m just saying. Also I love the dimmer feature. If bulbs included are not bright enough for your taste just switch them out, no need to remove a star for that on rating. Fan also looks very nice.

The fitness room fan was an old, ugly, original contractor grade cheapo. Time had come for a replacement. Besides the great style, one reason I chose this is because it has the option to be installed as a “ceiling hugger”. I also chose it because of the CFM rating. It arrived very timely, and was packaged well. I found the instructions easy to read and follow. Installation was pretty straightforward, but then again, I used to install fans for a living some years back. Installing the blades was pretty easy, as was the light kit. This is fan #6 of 7, only 1 more to go and I may make it the ORB version of this fan.The fan is quiet on low, but does make a little “helicopter” sound on medium and high speed. I used the CFL lights that came with it, as I have no need to dim the lights while working out. For those who say the dimmer doesn’t work, did you read in the instructions about the D/CF switch inside the battery compartment on the remote? I didn’t need to balance this, there’s a very small wobble as it transitions from medium to high, but it settles right out (which could be because of the ceiling flush mounting)The only drawback is the fan-body mounted reverse switch. I would prefer to have that function built into the remote control. That being said – good fan, good price, relatively easy to install, runs well.
