10 reviews for Harbor Breeze Twin Breeze Ii 74-in Oil-rubbed Bronze Outdoor Downrod Ceiling Fan

This fan is exactly what I was hoping it would be. My remodel is modern rustic-farmhouse at it looks perfect in my living room. I will probably buy another one for the upstairs master bedroom. Totally quiet, I can hear the breeze flowing through the fan blades but no noise from the motor at all. The instructions support putting the blades on once it’s up. Please save yourself some time and put the fan blades on before installing. I suggest using the appropriate size ladder for the job. I don’t think it looks cheap at all. Very happy with this purchase. It’s always a roll of the dice when buying on line, that’s mainly why I am taking time to leave this comment.

Fantastic fan. I installed it on my porch above the seating area. We had to have an electrician install a box and a switch, but after that installation was easy (you might say it was a “breeze”) and we couldn’t be happier. The ceiling is 9-10’ high and really moves the air. It gives decent light and just looks different and unique. We get lots of compliments. Very well made, no flimsy, cheap parts.

After several months we still love this fan! It wasn’t too hard to mount, about like other fans, and we do love the double fans. It does vibrate and shake on medium speed, but not on slow or fast, which is strange. We have it in our kitchen above our counter.

The house we are living in was a ‘kit’ that was assembled on site and has vaulted ceilings with a two and a half foot down wall from the ceiling that divides the living room and dining/kitchen. The two fans circulate the rooms very well over a single fan. I did not need to use the balances for it and it is very quiet. The only downside to it is as it is free rotating on the spindle the two arms for the twin fans are on, on high speed it tends to move clockwise some and needs to be moved back into center. The fans can be turned out up to 20° and the light and spindle rotate as well so it can be positioned however you want it.The instructions do not clearly state that the blue wire is for the light only and only say to tie it to the black, however, being an electrical type person, I knew the blue was for the light, thus, you can run, as I did, 3/14 wire and use the red for the light so you can switch it separately. I actually ran 3/12 since it was a motor, but the internal wire is 16gauge and it only needs 14ga for the feed, as it is low amps.It is reversible so you can change directions for heating vs. cooling. I typically run it on medium and it works great. Very attractive and nice design. When we move, I’m taking it with.

These started as a screened in porch fan….contractor messed it up so bad so I enclosed the addition. Everyone compliments me and asks where did I get these from! You do need to buy a remote kit separate. I thought they were a great price at over $200.00, now I see they dropped the price so I figured I would let you know what a great deal these are. I have had mine for just over a year and use them almost daily. Love it!!!

My contractors installed this fan/light in my living/dining room. Since the fans can be pointed in various directions as needed, they circulate the air very well. One of the best features is the remote since it is mounted on a peaked ceiling. I love that it has two fans since this room is large. Everyone who has seen it has commented on how unique it is.Note: The fans do not rotate around the light. It would be an even better fan if they did!

These fans are amazing. They’re the equivalent of a 70-some inch fan, They’re easy to hang, quiet to operate, and don’t consume too much electricity. We like them enough that we’ve installed five in our house. They’re not just for looks either. We live in the tropics (Belize) and they get used daily. They have never given us a problem.

Installed 2 at our previous house. So when it came time to install a fan/light on the back porch of our new house, we knew this was the one. We love them. The install isn’t too bad at all, the only tricky part seemed to be when you are attaching the fan blades, they rotate around while you are trying to put in the screws and you just need a 3rd hand to hold things in place. The only downside is that there is no remote control. But we picked up a generic one on Amazon and it works like a charm. You do have to make sure you get a smaller one as there isn’t a whole lot of room inside the mount for this fan. We used this one and it works fine, I’m sure there are others:YUKIHALU 3-in-1 Small Size Universal Ceiling Fan Remote Control Kit with Light and Timing, Wireless Remote Control and Receiver Kits for Ceiling Fan Lamphttps://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07S5QGRH2/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o08_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I love this fan. The dual fan is a little different than the standard single fan and it adds just s touch of uniqueness and class to our patio. It seems quiet though we don’t use it often yet. We used a12” extension do we could rotate the fans easier but it also gives it s better look than hugging the ceiling (in my opinion). It’s s nice rich color brown with plastic detailed looking blades. I saw it at Home Depot for a much higher price so I’m happy. No complaints here!

Pretty easy to install. Once setup, it runs great. Looks great. On the high speed, you get alot of airflow. Only recommended I have is when you are installing make a slight modification to the order of things. They suggest you mount the main section then with it hanging, you install the blades and light fixture. This is nearly impossible to achieve standing under it and working upwards. Instead, install the blades and light fixture with it down on a table first. Then you just carry it and place it all into the mounting bracket. Then wire it. Much much easier that way.I also recommend you pick up aKasa Smart Plug and you can wire into that to enabled Alexa control. Since this uses your standard pull chain, you can leave it “on” and then just use an Alexa enabled switch to turn it on and off.I used this since I wired to a plug outlet outdoors.https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0178IC734/
