  1. Scott

Ok, so one random day I find a drain fly in my kitchen. Then another one. I find one in my bathroom. Out of nowhere. I had never had them before in the 2 years in this apartment, and never in any previous apartment, so I didn’t have a proven remedy to implement and I didn’t know which drain they were coming from or why. I did a bunch of basic googling and review reading, and landed on this. Still very skeptical of anything, really, I gave it a shot based on the many positive reviews, and IT WORKED.Here’s my process. While I was waiting for this to arrive, and even a week before I actually used it, I first just dumped a bunch of bleach down each drain, because bleach kills and cleans stuff, right? Doubt it actually did anything though, but probably didn’t hurt. (Disclaimer, don’t mix bleach with other household chemicals, be smart)Then I put little teacups of apple cider vinegar and a drop of soap next to my garbage disposal and in the center of my bathroom. My suspicion was they were coming from my gargage disposal (or the drain next to the disposal, but likely the disposal due to the food waste) and from my shower drain. I don’t think they were coming from the toilet or the bathroom sink. This mixture didn’t seem to do anything but smell during the day, but when I woke up each morning, I’d find drain flies trapped and drowned in the solution. So that’s catching the ones that go exploring. (a pro-tip that I almost did but didn’t need to do, is to put clear packing tape over each drain at night to see where they are coming from)Then I used the Green Gobbler as directed. Probably more than directed, but still. Only did it once, and three weeks later there has not been a single drain fly. It did the job. I assume the enzymes ate away at whatever gunk these little bugs built their nest in and probably ate away at them too. I have a gallon of the Green Gobbler Fruit Fly Gel but I haven’t used it yet. So the next time these suckers decide to live with me and not pay rent, I’ll give that one a shot and compare the difference.I would buy this again.

The package was wel packed, no leaks. The product has nice smell and most importantly, it helps my kitchen sink drained faster after I used the amount as instructed for “high volume grease trap” at the first use. After that I use 8oz daily. The overflow of drain rarely happens now. I will continue using it. I recommend the product.

  3. Genevieve Sanders

This product is fantastic! We recently bought a house with a septic tank. One of our bathroom drains had an odor coming from it so I bought this product in hopes it would help and not hurt the septic at the same time. I poured about 2-4oz down the drain and let it sit over night twice. It worked like a charm. Now the smell is gone. Great value for the money.

  4. Attilio Figliozzi

First the product smells amazingly fresh and clears any odors from your drain. Also the enzymes really do remove grease and gook in your pipes ! After 3 uses my drain flows much better ! A thumbs up ! Great for pipe maintenance also, I purchased another bottle .

  5. Amazon Customer

We recently purchased an old farm that the plumber told s had a lot of grease in the drains. Because we have a shared septic system, his findings encouraged us to clean them. When I asked about getting a degreaser, he said we could try. We also had obnoxious shower drain odors that were cleared after one use. I have no doubt that this product went to work right away and probably has cleared the grease. We purchased 2 bottles and intend on using the second bottle on our next trip up. So far so good.

  6. SASHA NICOLE

So, for MONTHS my bathroom had a super funky smell that never went away no matter how much I cleaned it. I was convinced that my kids were sneaking in and peeing behind the toilet or hiding food somewhere in an effort to make me completely crazy. Im kind of ashamed at how long it took me to realize the smell was not, in fact, the toilet or hidden food but my own sink!! I had no idea that was possible, or how to fix it, but a google search led me here and I will be forever grateful for that because my bathroom FINALLYYYY doesn’t smell like an outhouse! I’ve been pouring a few ounces once a week for the last 4 weeks and the smell is literally gone, and was already muuuch better after the very first use. Trying to unclog an extremely slow bathroom sink drain. Started with removing and cleaning the trap – some substance like soap/gel, but not sure what has been slowly clogging this drain. Used Green Gobbler Drain Clog Dissolver first – No luck but received a refund (thank you EcoClean Solutions). Tried the next product…Instant Power’s Main Line Cleaner (x2). Purchased from Home Depot…no luck. 4ft “snake” with brush head…no luck. Small handcrank snake…no luck.***Decided to try one more time with the Enzyme Drain Cleaner (EcoClean Solutions) – Used the entire gallon over the course of one week. Then dumped in over a gallon of near boiling water. The sink filled up…I was disappointed and left room. HOWEVER, I ran the water later and the drain is CLEAR!! It took some persistence, but this product worked. I plan on getting another gallon and using “maintenance” doses every few weeks to keep the line clear.

I used to buy a smaller version of this product which is no longer available. Decided to try this big size because we are desperate to get rid of phantom odors that come up through the kitchen sink. Hopefully this will work, and not just ‘mask’ the odor. Big objection is the bottle does not have complete instructions—anywhere. It only indicates a dosage (2-4 ounces). I had to go online to find out how to use the product. You need to rinse the liquid down the drain with lots of hot water. This information should have been included with the purchase. It was very expensive to come without instructions!

  9. Niki

I was a little leery about purchasing a brand of septic treatment and drain cleaner that I wasn’t familiar with, but this stuff is worth every penny. I poured a few ounces down each drain in the house and an oz or two each time I attempted to flush the toilet over the course of 3 days. I used about 2/3rd of the bottle in total. Our drains went from draining slowly and noisily to fast flowing, and our toilet went from only slowly/barely flushing liquid waste to flushing properly for the first time in too long to remember! And it’s not like we never do septic maintenance, as we literally just snaked and completely emptied the septic system 3 months ago! Definitely recommend, will buy again!
