I like the fact it is easily mountable w/o taking it apart (2 screws go all the way through the fully-assembled unit) and it can be direct-wired and mounted nearly flush against the back wall. Also the light is nicely diffuse–you can’t see individual LED cells. Exterior build-quality is also good with no rough edges or paint runs. I also like the fact the hole in the back for direct wiring is in the middle of the unit, so you can prewire the wall for the wire to come out in the middle of the upper cabinets, and be assured the light will be in the right place. I’ve bought these 3 Color Levels Dimmable LED Under Cabinet Lights three times now, and love them. **And their customer service is beyond fantastic.** I had a tiny irrelevant issue and they insisted on fixing it at their expense – I wish all Amazon sellers were this good.

I had 6 – 12″ fluorescent fixtures that were becoming a pain in the rear. I tried numerous cheaper fixtures from Amazon and they either all failed or the color temperature was terrible. I purchased one of these more expensive 12″ fixtures to test out. After a short trial, I purchased 1 more 12″ and 2 – 32″ fixtures. These lights are near perfect. You have a choice of 3 color temps and 2 intensities. For my kitchen, the highest color temp looked best. For intensity levels, I set the 2 -12″ fixtures on full, and the 2 – 32″ fixtures on half. And with the mechanical swithing, all these settings stay put unless you decide to change them.I hard wired these lights using the wiring from the old flourescent fixtures. I did chain the 2 – 32″ fixtures with an inexpensive plug in jumper available thru Amazon, to reduce the number of hard wiring connections to be made. If you decide to hard wire yours instead of using the plugin option, be aware that there is minimal room in the 12″ fixture. It was tricky getting all the connections made and fit back into the fixture and to put the lens back on. However, the 32″ models have tons of room to make your hard wire connections. The connections are made easier with the push on connectors provided in the fixtures.I hope these lights last for a long time. Oh and by the way, if you have a question about the product or installation, the company has the best customer service. They answer your emails quickly and are very friendly.I completely recommend these under counter lights. I did NOT receive any product or compensation for this positive review!

This is a well engineered fixture, very versatile. The plug in option has a long cord and quick connects to the input connector. The direct wire uses quick connect plugs inside the housing. All hardware comes with it, just cut the direct wires to 3/8″ copper showing and slide them in, and screw the hatch closed! The rest can be ganged with end to end connect cables, 6″ ones are supplied so you order longer if needed. Those will connect to each other to make longer cables as well. It has two brightness levels in the switch, and three color temperature selections. They thought of everything! They are super easy to install and the light is amazing!

  4. Miguel

Very easy to install. Two screws that mount vertically through the unit. Was so easy – this is a 24 inch model, so had a space of 32 inches to install it in so ( 32 – 24 = 8, and 8/2 = 4) so just measured 4 inches from the edge and it was perfectly centered above my sink. Then just hand screwed the screws in to secure it and lock it down. I chose to hardwire the unit in using and electrical cord which plugs into a socket above my microwave. Was able to do the wiring with drilling just one vertical hole above my the cabinet above my microwave and run the electrical cord above the cabinets below the ceiling ( a small space). Also, used a 3 prong cord so it is grounded. The unit comes with quick connectors so you can insert the wire in them- no need for wire nuts – for a secure connection. I tried the GetInLight Swivel and Dimmable LED Under Cabinet Light…… but returned it. Was too long for the application and the swivel did not add any extra benefit. Also, installation for the swivel model was much more difficult because the mounting system was horribly designed. I like that this one has Low/Hi setting and three different light brightnesses (6 settings overall). I am glad I chose this over the swivel one. This one is very low profile so you cannot even see it- only see the light.

I ordered 6 24″ units, 1 40″ unit and 1 32″ (30?). The light color temp is consistent across all units, brightness is great, and all units are consistently dimmable from the hard wired wall switch. I have mine hard wired under my kitchen and bar cabinets and couldn’t be happier with the light quality, the low profile install and the overall product. My electrician did the install, and mentioned that he liked the fixtures and was happy with the arrangement of the knockouts for flexibility in wiring.Once I chose a light color (4000k worked best for us) I’m pretty sure I won’t change it again, but it was nice to try the other color temps without having to change out the fixture or a bulb.

Installed easily. Had every part that I needed for a hardwired application. Well designed to minimize the number of steps needed to connect the wiring, including a removable plate to make connecting to the ROMEX easier, and built-in quick-connect slide connectors that would accept TWO additional 12/2 style solid copper leads in case you were stringing the 12/2 serially. All I had to do was take a bladed screwdriver and punch out the snap-out ring, manually thread in the Romex wiring clamp, then strip back and slide in the hardwire connection. The best part was the HI/LOW vs. 3 color temperatures as we were trying to match existing (older) under cabinet lights that used XENON bulbs. As it turned out, having the 6 lighting combinations (3 color x 2 intensity) was key to matching the existing lighting tone.24″ width was perfect under a 36″ cabinet, although I contemplated a shorter 18″ fixture for slightly less money. I think the 24″ was probably the better choice.Lightly is nicely diffused. You don’t see the individual LEDs in the fixture.I would definitely buy again.

I did a lot of research, both online and with a local lighting store. Inline is so much better than low voltage (I have both). No mess, no transformers. The InLight series has all the types and sizes for LED lighting (the only way to go these days). Pucks and a variety of under mount bar lights. Not sure about their light strips, but if they offer them they will be great. They appear to offer most Kelvin colors, and many that are adjustable. And the ability to (a) plug into a wall outlet (I did not), hard wire with a romex connector provided (I did), and to link with 4″ (pucks) or 8″ (bars) jumpers, or unit-to-unit adaptors – all included – gives all the flexibility you could ask for. Prices are not cheap, but 1/3 what you will pay at a lighting store unless you are a contractor. And the best part is they have mini power boxes so you can professionally link from inline source to a plug and play output. Be aware that the pucks and bars have different plug and play linkages, so they don’t mix and match. I had trouble finding their full line on Amazon, so had to contact their service department. Chris emailed me right away, and then answered additional product questions. By the way, their full line is visible on Amazon at

I have had under counter fluorescent lighting for years. I love the warm, soft light. The units are gradually wearing out – and replacements are necessary. Unfortunately lighting companies are transitioning to LED lighting. Most LED lighting I have seen I find too bright and too glaring. First the electricians highly recommended and installed one of the new under counter LED “strip” lighting products (the lights have a peel off backing and stick under counter). They were way too bright, had no intensity adjustment – and the little dots reflected off of my glass tile backsplash in such a way that I thought I would have a seizure. So – I searched online and found these lights. They were installed today. Installment a bit difficult (by electrician) because of the way the incoming wire has to feed into the unit. But once installed I think they are probably the best alternative to my old lights. I have had to adjust the color to middle range (there are only 3 ranges of color – the slide adjuster does not slide through all gradations of color) and use the low intensity (dimmed) setting. If they were side by side with my old lights one might notice a difference – but they are on a different wall and they look fine. And FYI the bright undimmed setting is quite bright compared to fluorescents. Also there are connectors to connect the units in series – you can actually butt one right up against the other. Overall – I am quite satisfied with the purchase.

I mounted this over the sink in the vacation condo, as there is only an overhead light available and I wanted to have better light when doing the dishes. I also like the ability to leave a soft, low light on during the evening hours. I bought the 18” light and it exactly fit. As others have mentioned, the screws are just a little too long so they come through the bottom of the cabinet if you are doing an under-cabinet mount. To solve that problem, I used a piece of thin wood I had stashed from when the cabinets were installed. It was an extra piece of kick plate, I believe. I cut it to the exact size of the light fixture and placed it between the light and the bottom of the cabinet, to use up a tad of screw length. It worked perfectly. The light has a right-left slide switch with 3 positions (left-middle-right) to change between cool and warm light effects. It also has a rocker switch to change between low and high brightness. I tacked up the cord using Command strips with clear hooks and I am extremely pleased with the outcome. I worried about paying extra for this fixture, as there are cheaper options, but now I am completely satisfied that I made the right decision.

The lights are very easy to install and so far work great. They’re quite a bit brighter than the previous under cabinet lighting we had that used bulbs. The 3 different color options are great. My only complaint is that these things are so slim that there just isn’t any room to stuff the wiring back inside the casing if you’re hard wiring them in. I think these things could be a little deeper to allow extra room for this. On 2 of the 3 that I installed, I had to leave the back open and attach the wires directly to the top of the cabinet because they wouldn’t fit inside. Luckily these are designed to not be visible so it’s not that big of a deal.
