Absolutely a great tablet. Much easier to use because I can see what I’m drawing on it. Comfortable to use and a great size, the screen is perfect. Here’s a sketch I completed on this device. It also supports Clip Studio Paint Pro!!

I did a lot of research over the last year or so in my want / need to upgrade from the old wacom bamboo I’d been using for years and I finally settled on this. I will admit that a large part of that was decided by the pricing, due to quarantine making funds scarce.I have had a few issues here and there with it, but I’m certain that the majority of the issues have stemmed from user error / being new to owning this type of tablet / owning an older laptop. This tablet has shown me that my laptop’s display is rather… off where colour is concerned haha… but I will break it down in to pros and cons.Pros :- Amazing price- Great size, especially if it’s your first drawing monitor.- 8 lovely, customizable buttons as well as the two on the pen.- Easy to set up / figure out the first go around. The instructions are rather to the point.- Thick enough that I don’t feel like I’m going to break it on accident when I’m picking it up.- Pen is wireless and batteryless which is always a HUGE bonus.- Comes with a sizeable glove that gives plenty of room for larger hands.Cons :- I don’t have a permanent setup so it’s a little annoying to pull it out of the box and plug in all 5 of the coords every time I want to draw. Which, I get, that’s on me.- I have to recalibrate the pen and display due to the pen getting off centered. It’s easy to do this, though. Just a simple, 15 second line up in the settings will put it right.- I would like to be able to set my laptop monitor up as a separate screen, instead of mirrored screens, but I haven’t been able to get it to work properly. (This is probably just me being dumb, in all honesty.)- The nib seems to have worn out rather fast. I only had it about two months and I had to change to a new pen nib, and I normally am rather light handed. All in all, I’m extremely happy with this purchase. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a tablet on the cheaper side.

This tablet impressed me for it’s price, which is not at all bad for a screen tablet considering how pricy other tablets can be. This would be perfect for an upgrade from a non-screen display tablet, or just a handy tablet that’s a very portable and convenient size, but still works very efficiently. Setting it up was super quick and easy, especially if you’ve had experience in setting up any other screen tablet because its no different (note that an HDMI and USB cable are neccessary for screen tablets, and an outlet :). The screen itself has a very slick, matte feel to it, and the pen draws smoothly on it. It’s very durable and long lasting too; for the time I’ve been using it, I have noticed no marks or scratches (the colors and graphics are nice too!). The pen is battery free and even comes with a holder and plenty of extra nibs. One thing i was skeptical about before recieving the tablet was calibration (how accurate the pen and cursor match up), however this was no issue either because you can customize the calibration by how you hold the pen, and this can be redone as many times as you need.Overall, I’d say this product is easily worth more than for what it’s priced. I own a second screen tablet as well, bought around 500, and the gaomon pd1161 works just as great- the only difference is the size.

The colors were accurate and the pen pressure seemed just about perfect. ( The calibration was a bit off when I first plugged it in but that was easily fixed by redoing the calibration.) It was very easy to set up.I was extremely pleased to find that the pen doesn’t need to be charged, which is usually something you have to do with cheaper tablets.Another thing worth noting is that the customer service team is absolutely wonderful and was very helpful when it came to any questions I had. They can be reached through Amazon Message, email, or their website livechat. All and all a good tablet, and I would certainly recommend it for anybody looking for a simple affordable drawing display. 😀

After setting up and calibrating, this tablet was a pure joy to work with. I love the fact that it has a screen that reflects what is shown on the computer. That way, you can alternate from looking at the computer to the tablet to refresh your eyes and posture, without taking a break. The people at GAOMON are amazing to work with if there is ever an issue.100% would recommend

I wimped out on standard screen-less tablets and went for this one. While I was kinda getting the hang of the whole my-tablet-doesn’t-have-a-screen-so-I-must-look-at-the-computer thing, it was just too much for me, especially with my bad coordination. I also have wrist problems, so making the same mistake over and over because I can’t see my drawing right below the pen is, uh, not good. This tablet has been amazing. My old Huion tablet always had a problem syncing with my driver for Paint SAI? This one has no problems at all. The screen looks great to me. There’s very little lag (there is of course more lag if I overwork the computer, which is probably more of a computer problem than a tablet problem). The pen sensitivity and tilt control have been great; I find them much better than they were on the Huion tablet. It is also soooooo liberating to not have to charge the pen. That feature alone is already a life saver. Every now and again, I forget, and I have this moment of panic followed by relief as I remember charging the pen is a thing of the past that I never have to worry about again. This tablet does require a computer to pair with. It basically functions similar to a tv that has been connected to a laptop; it can only mirror and interact with content that is being powered by a computer/laptop. The HDMI cord is the main part that powers the screen, so without anything to plug the HDMI into, it will not work. My boyfriend was a little upset about this, but even if it requires a computer, it still has better quality and ability for adding details than for example just using an iPad.The seller is also very nice. They reached out to me once the product arrived to ensure there were no damages or other issues, and I believe they also reached out before the product arrived with updates on the shipping process. They warned me against common problems other customers have experienced with the device, and while I did not experience any problems myself, it was still nice to have an understanding of what could possibly happen ahead of time.As I mentioned before, this works great with Paint SAI. I’ve also used it with regular Microsoft paint and Krita. Honestly, I’ve even checked my email on this thing without issue. The driver installed without a hitch. The screen was in good condition with no scratches. The pen has a decent quality to it and is not heavy in any way. The hotkeys all function as intended. Overall, it is hard to think of any problems with it since I don’t think I’ve had any. Even the cords come with a cord-keeper, so I’ve had no problems there, either! If there’s any issue I could think of, it’s really just that I keep accidentally pushing the buttons on the pen while drawing, and they even have a quick fix for that by just disabling those buttons. In summary, I really like it. The device functions great. This seems to be a pretty nice company, and they do lots of sales. There is of course a large price for this, but it’s honestly super affordable compared to other tablets with screens, and even in comparison to some big named tablets that don’t have screens. I don’t use it nearly as much as I should, but the quality has held up throughout my duration of having it. 10/10, couldn’t be more pleased.

i generally am pretty happy with my purchase but i do have a couple warnings for anyone buying this.1. make sure you have an HDMI port!! i ended up needing to purchase an adapter but that’s on me for not looking more into it.2. there are a LOT of wires which can be a bit tedious to clean up and put away and plug in all the time.3. the pen lags really badly occasionally which is pretty annoyingother than that though it works really well!

I love that this pen doesn’t need a battery – that is a HUGE plus since I thought for the longest time that was only a Wacom thing. But this is an incredible deal! The pressure sensitivity is fantastic and the feel of the pen on the screen has just enough texture that it doesn’t feel weird. I also really love that it came with a little hand glove thing! It’s a bit of a transition to look at this screen vs looking at my screen because I have such a huge monitor, and a lot more cords than I’m used to ((Any Monitor tablet would have the USB/HDMI/Wall Plug in cords to go with it)) but I will need to adjust my set up to better accommodate it. But drawing it was a very relaxing change. You can edit the hot keys / pen buttons to your necessary preferences easily! A very good deal!
