10 reviews for Fanimation Studio Collection LP8350BLAZ Vintere Ceiling Fan with LED Light Kit, 20 Inch, Aged Bronze

I was a little hesitant to get this fixture after reading the reviews. A lot of people said it was hard to install, but it was exactly what I was looking for, so I went ahead and got it anyway. I am not an electrician by any means, but I have changed a lot of light fixtures in my home, and I didn’t think this was harder than any other fixture to install. It was a little tricky getting the control box inside the base, but if you keep your wires tidy it’s not a real problem. I love the LED Edison bulbs that come with this fixture and they dim really low unlike a lot of LED bulbs. The fan is super quiet and moves a ton of air. I can’t believe how much air it moves for being so small. I personally think if you have any experience installing lights, that you will be totally fine installing this fixture. Also, people complained about getting the screws in. Just use a short screw driver and you won’t have any problems at all. I tried with a regular sized one first and it wouldn’t let me get to the screws, but just switch to a shorty and you’ll be good to go!

I did not believe all of the previous reviews!! Partially because I thought if that is all that is wrong with the fan then it’s not a problem my husband is super handy…He did not feel the same way! After 3 hours of cussing at the fan he got the job done. It’s so awesome, He hung it 2 weeks ago and I have had a few people over and they have all loved it! I will also say that our conversation afterward was that I was so sorry it was that hard to hang and what a shame because I wanted a couple more of them for small areas in our house. His response…”I did it once I’m sure I could do it again”…WIN, he must like the look too! I will wait a while before I order the 2nd one. Its bright enough for my dining room, it actually puts off great light. As far as the reviews saying that the air blows straight down…it kind of does but it puts out good air. it is “louder” on the 3rd setting but I don’t think it as bad as the reviews say. Maybe if you have sensitive ears but in my dining room it really doesn’t matter.

I love this fan/ light in the nursery. It’s aesthetically pleasing, powerful and love the dimming option.

Works wonderfully. Was overall easy to install if you’ve installed other light fixtures or fans, it’s the same song and dance:Remove old hardware, install bracket, build fan, Mount fan on bracket, Wire and close. About an hour install at most.Comes with a nifty remote and some nice bulbs. My primary reason for purchasing this exact fan was it is encased fully in the frame, allowing me to wire a pully system around it for my VR setup, a regular fan would not have permitted this to work, but it works perfectly with this fan.Small, but still moves a good amount of air, very directional and a small area of effect directly under the fan. It won’t give you a breeze too far from under it. Motor is fairly quiet and well balanced, so there’s no shaking.

It looks nice, solid, perfect for the area I use it in. Not sure of how good it would be in a living room sized room. Realize it’s blades are a little less then the size of a basketball. Nice looking, friends have commented. Really easy installation. 4 stars are because if you lose your remote or it breaks or drowns you now have a paper weight on your ceiling. Maybe you can buy a replacement remote,,, probably expensive since the company now owns you. In the mean time I keep my remote in a basket of kittens surrounded by a fields worth of cotton inside a nuclear proof container. Actually it comes with a screw in holder…place it out of the mainstream

A little less than a year ago we moved into our 141 year old Vermont farmhouse (a real farmhouse, not a design adjective) and are slowly making improvements. We needed a ceiling light in our bedroom and were glad to find this Fanimation light/fan combo. My husband had to run electric into the ceiling and had everything completed within 45 minutes. He also installed a wall switch so the unit can be operated with the switch and/or remote. Obviously he knows what he’s doing. The fan works great-high is too cold for me now but may come in handy during the summer months (no air conditioning). On low and medium speed, noise is negligible. On high speed, it sounds like a fan, white noise to me, not intrusive and not an issue. I will probably reverse the fan direction for fall & winter months. I appreciate the ability to make that change. The light is good and the dimming function is really useful. This fan/light really fits beautifully with the hand hewn ceiling beams. We like it so much that we purchased another for our kitchen. Even though the rooms are not adjacent, the remotes conflicted with each other. My husband was able to “fix” that issue easily. We purchased a similar, look alike unit (on Amazon) from a different company for our living room because the fan supposedly had stronger air movement. I’m not convinced about that claim. It looks the same but with several shortcomings. This inferior alternative came with no battery for the remote. The battery is an unusual size and how can you check the installation without a working remote? This “other” fan is not reversible and the lights can not be dimmed, and no light bulbs were included. The Fanimation unit is clearly superior to me. It looks great, works as described, and came complete with remote battery and very attractive LED light bulbs. Highly recommended.

I was looking for something to make my kitchen remodel stand out and make it stand out. I was looking for the “wow” feature and this was it. Everyone that has walked into my complete kitchen remodel has commented on this fan/light. It was the icing on the cake. Works great, looks outstanding!

We absolutely LOVE the light – fan. The remote control allows us to vary the speed of the fan and brightness/dimming if the Edison lights. We needed something safe for the low ceiling on our covered patio. This works perfectly. Don’t let the small blades deter you. When on high it kicks out enough air to cover the entire patio area.

Put this up in a few hours. One bulb is broken and I’m having trouble finding a replacement. But, I love the look and it works great so far. We wired it to the light switch and as another reviewer stated there is a delay in the lights when you flip the switch on the wall. The fan does make a sound when on low that sounds like something is loose but nothing is, so we will accept it. It does give off great airflow. I was worried there would only be air when under it but not true.

We converted our pantry into a dog room after installing a new dog door. The pantry is about 5×6 ft and it does not have its own air vent. We leave the door to the pantry open for air circulation but we wanted to have both a lighting fixture and fan in there. I found this fan on amazon and decided to give it a go. While it’s quite large for the pantry room size, it’s incredibly powerful and does a great job of cooling and circulating air. I like the dimmable light feature with the remote — we dim the light at night and put it higher during the day for the dogs. The fan itself is pretty quiet, and I think if it were installed in a regular-sized room, it would be even more quiet (the sound amplifies in our pantry as it is small). However, there is a pretty noticeable sound difference between level 2 and level 3 of the fan. Level 3 is quite loud (highest setting). So, I usually keep the fan on level 2. Overall, this thing is great! It’s the most expensive ceiling fixture I’ve ever purchased, but it serves the exact purpose I bought it for, and the style fits in well with our decor. I recommend it.
