10 reviews for DEWALT Angle Grinder, One-Touch Guard, 4-1/2 -Inch (DWE4011)

  1. Supersoker

Bought this to replace a cheap other brand that sucked and was inadequate.Quality: ExcellentValue: ExcellentFirst use was to cut some tile to replace some interior doors. Bought a diamond blade and it cut through tile with ease. I was a little worried that the 7amp wouldn’t be enough but it’s plenty enough power. Then I used it to trim a chrome bumper, did that with ease too. All the jobs I’ve thrown at it have been no issue. My only complaint is the guard. It has a tendency to be difficult to rotate. Other than that, this thing rocks! Highly recommend.

  2. Philip

Not a fan of grinders with the button you have to hold. Bought this for metal work and am never let down by the high quality I have come to expect from Dewalt.

  3. Joe M.

I bought this in August 2019 for welding school it is now August 2021 2 years, I’ve had it since then, use it to grind, cut, and wire wheel brush on metal from 1/4 inch to 1 inch thick plate. Dropped it once and it’s still working like a champ. Very heavy usage when I was first learning Flux Core “FCAW”.

  4. JeffM

Only had it for a month and have just cut up a steel basket ball hoop pole filed wit concrete and some old metal outside chairs. Works great and is easy to handle.

  5. Robert J. Ferguson

Smaller and lighter than expected, which is good, because it doesn’t wear you out like the bigger versions, so you can control it better and use it easier than the big ones. Ran smoothly and blows the dust away as you work. Easy to configure. Great product and I would buy it again.

  6. The Brigadier

What more can I say beyond the headline. This grinder is reasonably priced, very powerful and small enough to work relatively easily in tight areas. I’ve been repairing brick and mortar outdoor stairs and walls. The small size and moveable guard are very helpful getting into corners. Excellent machine and good value.

  7. ND

Longtime Dewalt buyer. Needed a corded grinder for a huge project so I could keep it running for hours and not have to stop like on my 60v one. Bought the cheapest one dewalt makes and it’s very nice. I love how you can lock it on so you don’t have to tire out your hand/finger depressing trigger. Used it for around 20 hours in the first week. This thing is great for the price. Did exactly what I was looking for.

  8. TJ the DJ

This angle grinder is one of the handiest tools I have. It is small, so it can get into small places. It is also light, meaning you don’t tire easily from handling it. I had another DeWalt previously, but it eventually wore out, so I looked for a new one. If you need any grinder to cut small things, thin things, or things in tight spaces, this grinder fits the bill.

  9. Jon

Leaving a review to clarify something about wheel sizing. The 5/8″ spindle size fits 5/8″ threaded attachments. Most grind wheels are ‘depressed center type 27’ wheel size and do not have threads. To answer the question I had that I could not find – this grinder fits “7/8” wheel size out of the box due to the threaded locking flange adapter that comes with it.

  10. Eddie

I have a DW 402 that I bought 20 yr ago. I dropped it and broke off the paddle switch. I got on the web and ordered a new DWE 402 It was not the same and it was a hassle for me to setup. I sent it back. And ordered the DWE 4011Everything about this grinder is GOOD. Oh I ordered a new paddle switch for my old DW 402.
