When I first received this I was surprised. I thought I ordered a different set. Looking over the tools I first thought who would use the little blower and vacuum. Then I charged batteries and tried out the blower first, not expecting much. To my surprise it’s very powerful and has 3 settings. Works great! Then the vacuum. It has a lot of suction and a hose for tight spots. It’s now my favorite for my vehicles. Very convenient, no cords or large vacuum to drag out. The drill and impact driver standard dewalt quality. The saw I had doubts about, from other cordless devices. I was really surprised that it cuts very well and doesn’t bind. Only complaint is the batteries. Only came with 2 small ones. I have purchased the largest capacity available and they should be sold standard with this set. I use the blower daily and the vacuum cleaner for my vehicles and quick cleaning around the house. I would definitely recommend and purchase again, if it came with the larger batteries.

Let me start off I am an extreme couponer, and Dewalt has had some amazing deals lately! I did snag this kit on a stellar sale for $550 ish! And so stoked. I originally had the 7 piece kit but I was not that happy and felt like I was still missing tools, I happened to see this 10 piece kit and the other 7 piece kit was still returnable so I exchanged kits and could not be happier with this kit. I did buy the Dewalt pro storage boxes for the kit too which were also on sale at the time the kit fits great in the large and small tool boxes that are air tight and weather proof to protect your investment in tools. I also used amazon bubble wrap bags for extra protection for bumps while tool boxes being moved around til i buy foam and cut it. I have a horse ranch I just moved back into and this kit is great! Since getting it I am no longer bugging my neighbors to barrow tools as this kit has all the basics covered. I am only disappointed that Dewalt does not give the option for upgrading the drill as it is their basic model but it works just not as compact as I like so did buy another compact drill and the drill in this kit is still great for friends to use when they help w projects. The lil shop vac I thought i never use and absolutely love it! The hose comes apart and its battery power so also great for cleaning vehicles etc too. I do use the bigger battery that comes w Dewalt Hedge trimmers and have a flex battery on my ‘want list’ the batteries that come w the kit will get you by and do the job just don’t that long of a battery life depending your project. Overall tho if you want kit that packs the most tools for your buck stoked with this kit for the sale price.

I have always enjoyed using Dewalt Tools. My setup before this was the 18V drill, reciprocating saw, and circular saw which really worked great… except for those 18V batteries not holding a charge long enough.I have been using the 20V lithium ions at work and love their light weight and battery run times. So I decided to get my own set. While looking for some sales on the combo kit I saw the big kit on sale.My big concern with the cordless drill is that it was not the hammer drill version. Since I have a working hammer drill and you can purchase the 20V to 18V adapters to use on older tools, I decided to go that route. You don’t always need a hammer drill but when you do, you really do!I was also very excited to get the oscillating multi-tool which is really versatile! I actually used it to cut out all the dividers in my old Dewalt hard cases to store stuff in them. I can see the potential uses for this tool.Circular and Reciprocating saws I have not used in this kit other that to make sure they worked, but I have used the 18V versions and found them to be very useful.Cordless angle grinder is a pretty neat tool. I can see some things I can do with it but I don’t use an angle grinder very much. I did use it to reprofile an axe head and it worked great. The impact driver is one of my favorites. I have the 12V version and it is phenomenally useful. The 20V version is too!The blower looked kind of a gimmick, but produces a pretty decent blast of air from it. I was impressed with how much power it had.The cordless wet/dry vacuum is pretty cool as well. I didn’t know they made such a thing. It will come in handy for those small spills and cleanup jobs. I don’t use it in the shop as I always have a big wet/dry ready there. The charger is neat in that it will charge my 12 V lithium ion as well. My 12V one will also charge the 20V ones. So that is a win!The speaker is pretty decent for its size. I like how you can run it off of the battery or the included AC wall wart. Sounds good but it isn’t a Bose. Also on the speaker thought… I think Dewalt missed a cool opportunity. Since it plugs into AC power it would be cool if the batteries would charge while in the speaker connected to AC power. The batteries you get 2 amp hour ones. These do make the tools, especially the drill, feel light in the hand. I suspect I will upgrade to the 5 amp hour ones but the 2 amp hour ones are definitely handy and will probably be paired with the tools that I don’t use as heavily. One thing I thing is missing or should have been included was the Dewalt belt clip for the cordless drills and drivers. I definitely find these useful and I keep them on all my Dewalt drills and drivers. The work light is cool too, but I doubt I will be using this tying up a Dewalt battery. It’s a good light but other than emergencys when the power is out, I don’t see me using it that much. When I was looking at my old 18V tools I saw there was one of those lights in there that I never used. Still it will come in handy and being that I usually use a headlight I am covered. Glad to have it though.Speaking of lights, most of the tools have LED lights that shine on the work area. Very handy and useful.I am very impressed with the array of tools that comes with the kit

My husband is a Dewalt whore and upgraded to the 20V which he loves. I love the 20V as well…being a women sometimes it was hard to get the batteries off because my hands are smaller and squeezing the batteries isn’t always easy. Men if you want you women to be able to use the tools then this is the one to buy!

Had this kit a few months and have been able to use every item. Overall, it’s a good kit for the basic user. If you’re a heavy user, you’ll want to get Dewalt’s XR line.Pros:- Every tool you’ll need in one kit.- Includes blades for all saw items.- The speaker doubles as a USB charger for your phone.Cons:- Included batteries don’t last long for the saws. You’ll want to get additional, or higher capacity, batteries.- The circular saw is pretty low on the RPMs, so you have to take your time cutting- Multi tool doesn’t easily accept all blade types. They do include an adapter ring, but when I tried using it with my existing blades they can lose after a few seconds. Not safe!!!- The wet/dry vac is useless for water. Tried using it and after there was only 1/2” of water in the vacuum it started coming out the exhaust vents. It’s got a lot of power, which is part of the problem. Without enough depth in the reservoir, the water gets sucked up into the motor too quickly.

You could probably make money buying these & reselling them individually. This was a fantastic deal. I wanted 4 of the bare tools I didn’t have . . . and I have a buddy that really needed some tools . . . so I got it & gave my duplicates to my friend . . . money ahead . . . and a VERY happy friend!!! Now that’s a win! I’m bias toward Dewalt, in that I’ve had EXTREMELY good luck with their tools . . . pro-sumer level usage . . . my Dewalt 20v Max tools get used every day or two & usually several hours every weekend. This set? GREAT BUY!!!

  9. Specialmildsauce

I’m a general contractor and have been in need of a set for odds and ends on jobs for years. I was primarily shopping for a multi tool but figured I could use a grinder also. Also the cord on my sawzall and circular saw became a lot less appealing when I saw this. Since buying the kit, I’ve used almost every tool except the angle drill. Battery powered Bluetooth radio? Awesome! Bought 2 60v flex batteries for extra power and it’s all been great. As many have said, this may be more of a “weekend warrior” or “around the house kit, And I don’t use them all day every day. But cut a pipe here, multi tool some moulding there, PERFECT!

This set made my husband and I both happy. As a frugal woman, I hate spending a lot of money. However the freak ice storm of 2021 destroyed my husband’s tools via a burst water pipe.Upon searching the local stores, we discovered that replacements would be expensive. Both of us cringed at the prices until on a whim I decided to check out Amazon. With a lot of trepidation, we bought this set in the hopes that it would arrive safely. Amazon boxes have NOT been making it to our home lately, in one piece. We were VERY relieved to find that not only was the box in excellent shape, but it had protected the tools perfectly, cardboard dented and all. Each tool was individually wrapped in bubble wrap, then placed inside the bags, ensuring they’d arrive safely. While not all of the tools have been used, I can attest that the blower, shop vac, impact, and saws work very well. The bluetooth speaker does a decent job. The bigger Dewalt speaker does a better job, but has to be bought separately. That said, as a wife….I’m stealing my husband’s tools regularly!Any handy person would love these for regular jobs. As a mother, I’m already using the shop vacuum to clean up behind my kids for small jobs I don’t want to haul the vacuum out for. My husband just shakes his head.We BOTH love that the battery packs show its current life status with a simple press of the button. The local store wanted several hundred dollars more for this kit. $800+ tax, divided by 10 tools…. you do the math. Now my husband has no excuse not to get that “honey do list” knocked out!
