I purchased for cleaning out the garage after making small projects. We have a small patio and the wife is always after me to blow with the leaf blower, now she has her own and cleans regular without my help…. now I borrow to clean my shop space. I showed her how to charge battery and as they say happy wife……..

Ok, I went back and forth on this item for months. BOY am I glad I finally purchased it! My main reason for wanting this was I do woodworking in my single car garage. It is a FULL garage let me tell you. Along with my various woodworking tools, wood, hand tools, brooms, mops, Harley, auto tools, etc, etc, etc, I get a lot of dust collection. I occasionally have to break out my compressor, which I actually rarely use, to blow the garage out. It works great, but isn’t ideal because it’s not huge and I constantly have to wait for it to build up pressure. Especially when I need to do some finishing I try to thoroughly blow it out. I finally purchased this small blower. Now, I am a tool buyer for a small regional lumber company and deal with Dewalt a lot. That often gives me the courage to bit the bullet and give a new tool a chance, I know they’ll take care of me if it’s no good. As usual this was WELL worth the money! Now, for pinpoint air power, my compressor probably still does a better job. However for a broader range this is much more powerful. Overall that is much more useful. If I need to get dust out of small crevices, I will possibly still break out the compressor. For the bulk of my dusting this is what I’ll use. For the heck of it I tried it in the house in a few spots hard to get to. It works pretty darn well to clean out vents and the dust bunnies in those high peaks you can’t quite reach! As a bonus I will use it when camping to blow up mattresses or floaties with the included attachments. The only thing I wish this came with is something to pinpoint the wind pressure more, but that would probably put too much wear on the motor so I’m ok with it not doing that. For the heck of it, I DID try it on leaves. If you only had small amounts it may work ok, but as expected it wasn’t really ideal for that situation. I was not expecting it to and wasn’t going to use it for that anyway.

This little blower is perfect for our condo’s patio and very small enclosed yard. It blows out leaves, pine needles, and other debris trapped in the rocks, without blowing the rocks away. Also great for the garage. It sucks up power, so for any extended work get a 5ah DCB205, or a couple of smaller ones. I was able to squeeze the disassembled blower, my fantastic DCB115 quick charger, and my DCB205 5ah battery in a great little DeWalt bag I got (DeWalt 13″ Mini Heavy Duty Contractor Tool Bag) on Amazon for less than $15.00. Very compact kit that is perfect for my particular application. I’ll add photos.

My wife asked for an electric blower. I already had 20v DeWalt tools with the right batteries. The variable speed settings and trigger are great. A 2ah battery lasts about 12-15 minutes on highest use setting, blowing almost constantly. Have realistic expectations about with this little blower can do and you will not be disappointed. It isn’t a gas powered high volume air mover, but it is extremely light weight and gets the leaves and dust off the porch and furniture. I even used it after a week of desert camping to blow out my truck.

This has endless uses, your apartment or house, garage, front yard, back yard, your car – the list goes on and on !Attractive design, lightweight, decent amount of attachments and outlet combinations, with decent battery consumption for the power you get.3 different levels of power allow you conserve battery power for smaller jobs and higher settings allow for tough even wet grime like leaves, garbage, and other street debris be blown away without touching it with your hands or using a broom/pan combo.I can do jobs comparable to a neighborhood lady using a Worx brand blower and needing 2 batteries to clean up some neighbor’s yards that she gets paid for every other morning. The Worx uses 2 18v 3ah packs of I’m not mistaken, it’s nice to see this DeWalt can match this performance on 20volt on one brick.I do use it with a 5ah battery pack though as this blower is one of the more power hungry DeWalt devices I own, in my opinion the stock 2ah batteries have no business being used with it as you just won’t get the runtime you’re looking for to finish a short job….I only got about 5mins on full charge with a brand new pack on high turbine setting.5ah are pretty costly so you’ll have incorporate that cost into the total cost of this blower as it’s sold without one, or get one of the tool+battery ready kits (anything over the standard 2ah impact drill/gun power pack will do).Overall it’s a mighty blower not only on paper but also in a variety of everyday real life uses, if you splurge on the right battery you will be a very happy user and you will take on most jobs with ease and still have enough battery left to use another tool (preferable a drill/impact gun) without a new charge !It’s a great and long lasting family of tools !

I’ll be honest I didn’t buy this to blow yard debris around. I bought it because it had an inflator and deflator attachment. I was perfect for blowing up my 10ft tall rainbow unicorn raft at the beach. It only took about 7 minutes to blow it up.

I’ve had mixed feelings about this purchase. First, I was irate that the product title didn’t use the phrase “Tool/Body Only” like the other DeWalt products do. So I was incensed that I had to buy a $100 battery after the blower arrived. Then I was completely flabbergasted by its tiny size. Honestly, I have bigger kitchen appliances. But then the batteries arrived…and all is forgiven.I purchased this for an elderly renter who has a compulsion to blow debris off of his sidewalk and patio. This blower is the perfect tool for that. It’s lightweight, easy to use, and VERY powerful. BTW, this replaces a $80 Black & Decker battery-powered blower that died after 1 month’s use.

So I was reading through some of the reviews on this before I bought it & some of the negative reviews so far didn’t hold weight in my personal experience. I currently have an electric blower which is rated @ 450cfm/240mph and it really works well but I got tired of the common extension cord issues that go along with it. A family member has this Dewalt blower & said it works great so I decided to try it out since I already have Dewalt tools as well. Although this little blower doesn’t have the blowing power of my electric, it definitely still has the power & ability to get the job done just as the same. The high and low speed switch on top works great for more or less power and I like the function of the multi 3 speed variable trigger. Also because of its smaller size & light weight it’s much easier to use & you can brake it down to store it away when not in use with a storage space capacity that of a little more than a gallon of milk would take. It’s very light weight, definitely not as heavy and bulky as my electric one. It blows leaves and debree exstreamly well with an air volume of just 100cfm & air speed of up to 180 mph (Note; a category 4 major hurricane is rated with wind speeds @ 130 to 156 mph) so at 180 mph this little blower is above that. The only negative thing I noticed is if you are right handed the air intake is on the left side of the blower so it will suck against your clothes if it gets to close, other than that I’ll use this blower over the electric one from now on. The only time I will probably ever use the electric one now is if I need to use it to vacuum up leaves instead of blowing them since it has that option. Other than that I’m sold on this little Dewalt blower. One last thing, this blower also comes with attachments you can use to blow up & or suck the air out of things like an air mattress or pool floating items, so it would be perfect to take along camping or to use around the house for those things. I didn’t use it to dry anything so I didn’t rate that part but I’m sure it would work great for that as well.

Got this for my wife for our 22nd anniversary. She loves it!!

I’m writing this review because there was a lot mis information in the reviews I’ve read so I wanted to clear up things and I’m more than satisfied with mine. First is when a tool says “bare” or tool only it means no battery is included. Some complained it was as a powerful as a hair drier which is low setting. Theres 3 power settings, low/med/high and it comes out of the box on low. It has different power settings and attachments to blow up things like pool toys or air mattresses the top setting is more powerful than my basic leaf blower. Its labeled compact and yes it’s small. It called a jobsite blower because it has a high mph rating but low cfm so it’s amazing for blowing out a garage sawdust at a jobsite or grass off a sidewalk but not great for leaves stuck in grass. The the fan intake location is a little annoying because if you are right handed it will get stuck to your body or shirt sometimes but is manageable. Hope this helps.
