Worked great for my purpose. Highly recommend. The price is right.

it does what you think it does. it does what it’s counterpart did when your dad bought one 20 years ago. it was a good tool then. it is still a good tool.

Bought this for a drywall install project. Made the job so much easier with a new rasper, once I figured out how to secure the blade that is. It fits well in my hands and easy to use without snagging. This is one of those tools you can’t do without when installing drywall for a big or small project.
BigSchlink –
Needed a small plane to fix a door issue. Worked as expected and fixed my problem.

I saw someone in a YouTube video using this exact model for cleaning up the edges of drywall. The small size and shape is much nicer than the old skool one I inherited so I bought it. I hasn’t disappointed and fits easily in one of the small pockets on my tool belt.

Made in England! What’s not to like?

I have used a full-sized surform to help clean out drywall holes for years. It never fit well into wall openings and so was usually awkward to use. I finally decided to get a companion surform in a size that made more sense. This one is nice and should work great. It has a much shorter shoe so I think it will be more maneuverable. It has, like the larger one, standard refills so I can get more use out of the frame than just drywall. These work well on other materials, especial rigid foam and including soft density wood. I am pleased with the price and the quality–seems like Craftsman still comes through with quality tools yet today.

Good price, worked great but can’t find replacement blades. This might be a close-out item.

Easy to use. Shaved side of gate in no time

I’ve been using this in cut drywall edges and it smoths great and can easily take off small amounts if needed .
