It is one of the best investments I’ve made. This juicer is by all means not perfect. It gives you a great juice using most of what’s possible to extract from any juicy fruit and vegetable, however at times it gets too congested, it squirts a bit out of the enclosure, which shouldn’t happen – it is a minor fault comparing with the great job it does and the ease of cleaning. From having the fruits washed to having a ready juice and cleaning it all, it takes less than 5 minutes, so it’s very efficient. I didn’t try using one of the options out there for squeezing juices, but with the great cleansing and diet I’m having – this machine’s price is justified.

Okay, yes I saw the movie. After seeing the movie I got an Omega mastacating juicer. It was about three times the cost of this referb. The omega worked great, but only for one person. If you want to make more than one small juice, you have to clean the thing before you finish juicing. Also, be prepared to make an event out of making juice. It takes time. It is s – l – o – w.I got married! Woohoo! Time to juice for two. This Breville is so much faster it is rediculouse. The pieces/parts are bigger, but clean up seems faster as well. It’s pretty violent, so cover thatv hole when the cranberries go in. Haha. I only use the fast setting. The cup is just perfect for juice for two. (two 16 oz juices) We make Juice in the mornings, 5 days a week.I would recomment this instead of the slower mastacating juicers to anyone who wants to start juicing. And, why would you not buy the referb and save some cash for produce?

Was looking for a juicer to replace my aging Juice Man, and narrowed it down to the Breville 750 watt & the 850 watt units. After reading other customers reviews, decided to take a chance on the certified remanufactured 850 watt unit, as could get it for the same price as a new 750 watt unit. To start off with, the unit arrived days before the estimated delivery date. And as other customers had expressed, the unit looked brand new to me. Could not find one scratch or flaw. And all I can say after using the unit, is wow!!!! It is indeed a juice fountain. Loved the large feed chute you put the fruit and veggies in, which saves a lot of time in not having to cut into smaller pieces. This may not seem like a big deal, but I drink fresh juice almost every day. It turns the fruit and veggies into juice fast, and gives almost twice the juice from the same amount of produce. Also love the way the pulp container locks into place and does not move away from the unit as my old juicer did, resutling in extra clean up. I had looked at less expensive units at first, and am so glad I spent to extra money for this unit.

We’ve been using this almost every day for several weeks, now. It works great. There are a lot of complaints about it being hard to clean, but I haven’t found that to be the case. As long as you clean it immediately after use, it takes no more than 5 minutes. It helps to put a produce bag into the pulp container, that way you don’t even have to clean that part. I usually just rinse most of the parts with some hot water, and use the scrub brush included to wash the filter basket. I’ve been very pleased with how fast and efficient it is and how much juice it extracts. I’m new to juicing, but it’s definitely something I plan to stick with.

After having tried $50-70(lower range) juicers here is my verdict: GREAT! Here’s why1. Easy to assemble and clean. You can rinse everything off with just water; for the blades you have to use a brush that comes along.2. I used it for both veggies and fruits and it juices them well, almost till the last drop3. Low noise4. It does create froth on top of the juice so if you want to store your juice just remove the froth using a strainer. Also, I bought a certified one and it was packed, looks and works just as a new one.

  6. Lori J. Fedele

Love this juicer. The pulp is dry so I know I am getting just about all of the liquid out of whatever I juice. It is very easy to use. The only thing I wish it did better is juice greens. When I look in the pulp most of the greens are in big pieces in the pulp and long stems are in there as well. I rolled the greens up as some here have suggested but it didn’t seen to help much. I decided to blend my greens since my Kitchen-Aid blender does that well. This juicer will juice anything else with no problem. It is easy to clean as well.

I had been planning on purchasing a juicer for some time having previously owned a very basic and honestly very mediocre store bought version that was messy, and produced very little juice. I decided on a budget of $100 – $150 knowing that as of now, I am not a juicer fanatic and do not plan to juice every day, but still wanted a quality item that would get the job done.Initially I decided on the Breville Compact Juice fountain which was running at the $100 price point but it was also on back order for 1-2 months, then I spotted this for around the same price just the fact that it was a refurbished item. I was a little hesitant to purchase but figured the excellent reviews were reassuring and Amazon has always stood behind its product. Though just in case I purchased the additional 4-year warranty which was really cheap but peace of mind!It arrived in a new box, looking brand new and wrapped in all the manufacturing packaging – not a mark or flaw to be seen, so my guess is these might simply often be returns that once shipped cannot be marked as new even if never used…who knows? And it works like a charm -I will post a video next use. As its close to shopping day I had a bunch of fruit and veggies that needed to be used so mixed apples, parsley, pineapple, lemons, sage (weird but it works, trust me) and cucumber. It produced a full jug of super fresh, tasty juice and took mere minutes to make. It cut and squeezed right through the produce. It did work much better with the harder stuff like apples and even the cucumber, though did better than I expected on the herbs; it struggled a tad with the pineapple leaving a lot of pulp behind – BUT, I simply took all the pulp, threw it in my Vitamix, added a few berries and a banana and I have a smoothie ready for work tomorrow which is thicker as a lot of the watery content became tonight’s juice! The kids loved the juice and I also plan to use it to make popsicles in the summer as a great way to sneak some extra greens into their diet. The best part of all though was the part that I had been dreading, was one of the easiest of all -clean up. Some of the parts are dishwasher safe, it was just 5 super easy to rinse parts that took seconds to dissemble and rinse off. Far easier than my old model and it is also worth noting that the juice was caught cleanly in the jug with no spills during juicing!Glad I went with this -refurbished and all!UPDATE: One of my favorite juice shots is lemon, apple cider vinegar and ginger topped with cayenne. I had been making it with pickled ginger but after watching my local juice place (which charges $7 for these shots) using fresh ginger juice, we tried juicing ginger….this thing whips though it, without you needed to peel it and about 5 stalks ginger filled a 4 oz mason jar so I am saving money and getting the real deal!

This is an excellent and cost effective juicer. It is an outstanding one to get if you are interested in trying out juicing, but you are not sure if you want to be fully committed yet. The juicer is very easy to assemble and disassemble and cleaning is mostly simple, although you have to keep up with it. After a juicing session the plastic pieces pretty much just rinse off. There is a metal mesh basket which is inside the juicer which needs a bit more attention. You actually have to scrub it with an included brush to get out all the particles lodged in the mesh. If the mesh is not kept clean it affects the performance of the juicerAt the base of the mesh basket are tiny blades which spin very rapidly and grind up whatever you are juicing. You feed your fruit and veggies through the upright tube to the grinding blades. The ground particles move up into the basket where centrifugal force squeezes the juice out. The pulp is then discarded into an attached container and the juice is extracted into another. Pretty simple. This thing is not tiny. A little bigger than a full sized food processor, it won’t be the kind of kitchen tool you will be putting away every time you use it, especially if you juice constantly. Be prepared to designate counter space and a suitable work area around it.There are more efficient juicers, but not at this price. The package we received was like a completely new juicer. There was absolutely no indication that this was a remanufactured unit and we have had no problem with it. There really is not much of a learning curve on using it, there is however a learning curve on decent juice recipes. We are fairly new to juicing and if that is the case for you as well my first piece of advice is to get used to going to the store every couple of days for fresh produce. We stocked up for a week and subsequently have had to throw out some items which went bad before we used them, especially if you are using organic produce. The juice tastes significantly better if the ingredients are fresh anyway.

I did receive a refurbished model of the Breville Juice Fountain (in case you were looking for one around February 2016, I bought the $86.00 with the less than 5% damage) it was 100% spotless and clean. It does the job seamlessly, I only have to cut really big (+3in diameter) fruits and veggies in half.I would recommend going to YouTube and searching for this product. How I even came a crossed a Breville was FullyRawKristina on YouTube, she started out with this juicer, now moved up to a model I will probably upgrade to in a few years. So far I’ve had no problems, cleaning is easy, the top parts are dishwasher safe, I prefer to hand wash them. The picture: After a week of using this I got the hang of it. I juiced Two grape fruit, 5 carrots, 2 Naval Oranges, 2 Cameo Apples, Ginger Root (for me, this took out more of the bitterness of the grapefruit). It made about 36oz of juice (about 2.25 16oz servings)If you have ANY questions please comment below, or like I said go to YouTube and see people talking about it, using it, and even cleaning it.

Ok, first of all… I’d bet money that this is a brand new juicer!! It seemed brand spankin’ new to me. Breville is famous for their juicers because they are strong and last a long time, and now I see why. It’s strong and durable. I thought it was going to be hard to learn, but within minutes (after washing everything) I was up and juicing!!I was skeptical at first, because I heard it was a lot of work, etc… I actually find it rewarding to do the entire process. You really feel good when you are washing your veggies, and putting them in the juicer. One thing I’d recommend is that if you see the juicer not juicing, stop it and rinse the screen out, or clean it. You will get more juice. Cleanup is not as bad as I thought it was going to be, either. Use a bag to line the pulp and it’s easy cleanup. Today I didn’t have time, and loaded everything but the machine into the dishwasher. I’ll clean the filter myself, by hand, after soaking it in water for about 10 mins. No biggie.I researched juicers for WEEKS and it came down to this one. There is more output of juice, the pulp is dry, and it’s not very expensive. I feel so much better, and healthier, too!! (And it’s not all in my head, either…LOL) Please remember that when you juice with green veggies, like kale, you’re going to feel like your drinking grass… I just add ginger root, a banana or something, and down it. That’s the best method. The rest of the juice leftover, I put in 8 oz. Mason jars and put it in the refrigerator. (Juice 1/2 peeled lemon to it so it won’t turn colors) Once you get used to it, you wonder why you hadn’t done this before.I’d recommend this to anyone, and am thinking of getting this for a present for someone. Good buy, highly recommend!
