Bosch JS572EK 7.2 amp Top-Handle Jig Saw Kit
The Bosch JS572EK Top-Handle Jig Saw provides excellent cut precision, thanks to the innovative Precision Control II double-roller system. This construction minimizes blade deflection for true, exact cuts. Woodworkers and kitchen and bath installers are among the many user groups that will appreciate the best-in-class 7.2 amp motor and variable-speed control. This jig saw is an excellent choice for curve-cutting and scallop-cutting and other cuts in a wide array of materials. Built with an aluminum gearbox with an insulated cover, this jig saw has a state-of-the art counterbalancing mechanism for low vibration and Constant Response circuitry for consistent speed under load. It has a large die-cast aluminum footplate with tool-free adjustment for fast-and-easy bevel adjustments. It also has LED lighting and a dust blower for max cut-line visibility. The jig saw has a toolless blade-change system. The multidirectional blade clamp provides superior grip of T-shank blades (Bosch jig saws do not accept U-shank blades).

Cut Precision The JS572E features the Precision Control II double-roller system, which minimizes blade deflection for cut precision. The laterally self-adjusting guidance system features rollers that fine-tune themselves to varied blade thicknesses. The second roller minimizes blade flexing. |
Controlled Cutting The jig saw provides 7.2 amp, handling heavy loads. Constant Response circuitry maintains desired speed for consistent performance under load. The saw has a variable-speed control with a dial to set the maximum speed, and an accelerator trigger to control the operating speed. |
Designed for Durability This tool features an aluminum gearbox and a large die-cast aluminum footplate that includes tool-free alteration for easy bevel adjustments. The multidirectional blade clamp provides the superior grip of T-shank blades (Bosch jig saws do not accept U-shank blades). |
Convenience The Bosch JS572E has bright LEDs and a blower for visibility of the cut-line. The One-Touch blade-change system provides for one-handed blade insertion and lever blade ejection, so there is no need to touch a hot blade. And its counterbalancing mechanism yields low-vibration strokes. |

I have never been a fan of Jigsaws but this one has changed my opinion. This saw is fantastic, easy to operate, has a light on the front so you can actually see your cut line, no tool needed for blade change, quiet, smooth, and just makes me happy to hold and use it.

My husband actually uses the saw. I am the “project helper”. We really like this saw. It has a light so that you can see what you are cutting. The power is perfect for the do it yourselfers. It came with a hard shell case to protect and carry it. Bosch is a very well-known name in tools. The saw is very well made and with proper care should last for many years.

This Bosch Jig Saw commands a higher purchase price than other brands but I believe it is worth every penny. The 7.2 amp motor supplies more than adequate power for any jigsaw-suitable task. Bosch engineering and construction allows you to apply that power precisely to the job at hand. Most of the high grade engineering is hidden from view but the most important contributor to keeping the blade tracking the desired cut-line and cutting angle is shown in the photo below. The lower blade guide assembly is not only extremely rigid over-all but features dual upper and lower roller-guides that make the blade much more resistant to lateral deflection than the normal single-guide arrangement. There are certainly other quality jigsaw options out there but if you value what I like to call a “happy tool” that wants to help you do quality work, you will not regret buying the Bosch JS572EK. I know I don’t!

I bought the 470E first trying to save a bit of money. Don’t Do it. This is the one to get if you are getting a Bosch. The cut is much more perpendicular and the lights are worth every penny especially if you have old eyes.

This jig saw is super easy to use. It can be adjusted in several different ways, has a variable speed, and a pressure sensitive speed trigger. I like that I can really be precise with this jig saw. Gone are the days of getting “just rough cuts” with a jig saw. This thing is nearly as accurate as a scroll saw. Granted you need to know what you’re doing.I really wish Bosch included the metal foot plate, however. I also purchased a different set of blades than what came with the saw. I believe it comes with “fast” blades but I opted for “precision” blades instead. I love this jig saw.

I have a working jigsaw and wasn’t real happy with it. I’ve looked at good jigsaws for the last 2 years. Finally I found a nice discount on this one. What a huge difference from my mid priced dewalt jigsaw. Power, accuracy, vibration free, very controllable. It’s a wonderful tool, a serious tool. Even the electric motor is cool. It SOUNDS powerful.

I am blown away with this jigsaw! I was stuck as my SKILSAW had missing pieces and I did not want to bother finding the parts for it. Luckily this Bosch Power Tools Jigsaw Kit was all I needed with the addition of longer precision blades to get through the thickness of the wood for the Pergola I was building for my daughter. It’s light enough for me so that I don’t get tired holding it and super precise in its cutting aspects. It was between this D style handle and the Barrel handle. I chose the D Style as I felt I would have more control in awkward spaces. I also did not want any loss of power at any time so I went with the dedicated power cord instead of the battery charged model, and it made it a lighter load and so tiring to operate as well.

I’m quite impressed with the vibration-free and accurate cuts I can do with this saw. It is easy to follow my cut lines now, something that was always difficult to do with my old and faithful, but chattering Black and Decker. Now that I’ve experienced the effortless gliding cuts that the Bosch saw can do, my only regret is that I waited so long to upgrade.
