I recommend this rail after having personal experience with my own mother. Easy to use, now legs to impair transfer safety, easy to put together, and very sturdy!

I am a professional in the home care field. Use of bedrail assists are an easy way to increase someone’s independence and safety. It provides leverage to get legs in and out of bed,helps with sit/stand and it assists with rolling. It is not meant to prevent someone from falling out of bed. It is placed towards the head of the bed, not the middle of the bed,like the picture in the ad shows. This bed rail has the added stability of the strap to secure it to the other side of the bed frame. I’ve even used this on hospital beds. A couple of zip ties do help keep it secure. The bed rails that have legs are a tripping hazard and sometimes not correct length even though adjustable. The ones with the board have the individual laying on a board. No tools required for assembly. Hope this helped. This is a simple product and should not be very expensive but it really improves an individuals quality of life
