Amazon Customer –
The size is perfect and easy to handle. I have used this router on several small-sized projects and have been very pleased with the results. It does heat up a lot more than I expected, but to my surprise this router kit comes with a pair of gloves. So I wasn’t too worried about that. This router also has the variable speed to enhance the handling. I enjoy using this router and $70 price point can’t be beat.

I chose this router after researching and using various other brands of routers. I went with the Masterworks kit because it came with more attachments than the other kits i was looking at and it fit within my budget. The action is very smooth and the motor has plenty of power for its size. I have used it for simple edge routing and letter writing. It worked perfect for me.

The first one they sent me broke after about two hours of use. The motor would spin up and then stop. It also didn’t sit correctly in the casing, and every time I’d adjust the height the metal cylinder would get scratched up. But when I contacted the company, they were extremely nice and sent me a replacement right away. I’ve made about a dozen picture frames on it and have had no issues. This one rests fine in its casing, and I do think the first was faulty.Considering the price and the great customer service, I think it was worth purchasing. I also assume most people won’t get a dud the first time.Update after several months: I upgraded the review from 4 to 5 stars because the replacement router has been so good, and I’ve used it for many hours’ worth of routing. Sometimes the smallest bit that came with it slides in the collet, but I haven’t had issues with the other bits or bits that I bought separately. Thank you.

I’ve never owned a router before, but I have used them and am aware of what’s considered the “best” brands to purchase. Considering that I had a small job of trimming new Formica countertops, I took a chance on this product due to the reviews and low price.I was not disappointed! The router is pretty easy to use, comes with some basic bits and made easy work out of finishing up my kitchen countertop. I am looking forward to using it on future projects and would recommend. It left the Formica edges smooth and looking good.

My EXPENSIVE small similar ($200.00) one broke so bought this to get me by while I had the other one in for repairs. I was shocked to see the quality in this little gem. Works almost as well and very happy with it. If you need a workhorse, this might not fit the bill but if you are just doing some edging and need a small compact router, buy this! The only problem is that if they get too many reviews like this, the price will go up!

I’m not a wood worker but I know my way around the garage. Doors have always been a struggle for me. Thank installed some doors and ended up that one opening was a bit too tight. I sawed a bit off the hinge side but I needed to cut out the notches for the hinges again. Having tried barely successfully with chides before I found a ryobi door hinge jig and this wonderful little router. It’s made very well. Some plastic parts with CNC machined aluminum where it mattered. I was amazed at how quickly this made its cuts and how perfectly even the entire surface was. The router itself was cheaper than if I paid someone to mount the door for me so even if it died it would be worth it. But it’s well made and has a nice case, with several router bits in their own box. It’s now my new favorite tool.

This router is great. I did not want to buy a high priced router because I only need to use it maybe once a week or so. For what I use it for this router is perfect. It’s easy to control and I absolutely love the power cord on this thing. The insulation is made out of rubber, not plastic, so its flexible no matter how cold it is and it’s the longest power cord I’ve ever seen on a power tool.

My first trim router was purchased two years ago. It was a porter cable router with plunge base and worked great. I was looking another compact trim router for both light use and heavy duty, finally I decided to try this one. It did not disappoint me, much better than expected. It has more power than my old one. I like its compact size and variable speed control, especially the accessories that come with. The adjustment range also make this one easier to use. LED lights help you see what you are doing at dark places which is a big plus. If there was a negative point, I wish it would take a bigger tool bag. Overall, I am very satisfied with this router and would recommend this.

I really enjoyed this router. My first router that I’ve liked. I’ve had to send a few back. It gets pretty hot while I’m using it. And if that’s just how routers are, then my bad.
