Now I purchased my pair sometime in October 2015 and so my review is based on five months of wear and tear.At the moment my current occupation is a garbage collector and hence the reason why I got this product. The product is exactly how it appears on the website but these babies DO FOG UP when the glasses are really close to my face and can’t get any air. These bad boys are 97% effective in preventing dust from getting into your eyes but dust do slip in every now and again but its nothing to worry about. Now in December I was unloading a bin when my coworker unintentionally removed a piece of wood, but wasn’t aware that I was in the back of him, and the end of the wood hit me DIRECTLY in my right eye. But I received NO DAMAGE to my eye as a result of these glasses. Even on the right lenses I was surprised that there was hardly any scratches??Worth the money for daily or occasional work.[…]

Seriously glad I found these! I’ve tried both the protective sunglasses by Dewalt (they work, but they hurt my ridiculously thin/bony nose after just a short period of wearing them (should be fine for normal people, so nothing really against that product) and mad-scientist-style goggles (they certainly work, but they’re so uncomfortable I don’t want to wear them, plus mine are only for indoors and usually they’re overkill for most tasks that don’t involve splashy dangers). Both anti-fog, and both do reasonably in this area if worn properly. But it was painful to do so. So I began a search for something to save me achin’ nose. These are super… comfortable, pretty good sun protection, fit my odd little face snugly without being painful and even play nice with respiratory protection. They have become my new go-to eye protection. And they’re cheap? What the heck! They also have that nifty little ear plug threading feature, which indeed has come in handy. The anti-fog feature is above average; not perfect, but it’s what I expected and comes down to wearing it properly against your face and other gear 100% of the time, which isn’t possible in every instance depending on what else you are wearing (sometimes for basic allergy protection during gardening chores I just wear a gaiter, and this obviously lets a lot of hot air out and under the gasket). Luckily they’re really easy to clean and replace and stay in place too. Conclusion: still would reach for goggles if it involves super scary chemicals splashing, or anything where you’ll be blasted with a tornado of particulates from odd angles. For mowing/blowing/sanding, these are perfect.

I bought these glasses to protect my eyes while cycling, and they work great, as well as being infinitely less expensive than my $150 Panoptix. Because there are rubber seals around the frames to keep air and road debris from blowing into my eyes – they also serve to keep other indoor airborne contaminants from coming in contact with my eyes . . . And that is helpful during Covid-19, especially when used in conjunction with a mask. My only complaint is the fact the frames are a tad too large for my head, and they come in contact with my helmet, which applies added pressure to the area above my ears. I wish the company sold a smaller version more suitable for women.

Excellent for many purposes. I initially used for riding quads, wood splitting, spraying chemicals. Then used under my PPE to aid in protection from CORONA VIRUS at work as a nurse. The air vents aid w ventilation and comfort for more rigorous activities. Highly recommended, great value, and quality.

I realize that this makes me seem like a frog-person, but I have no way of proving otherwise. So bear with me.Short story:1) Snug, comfortable fit with full eye socket coverage (check)2) Fog Protection (check)3) Fits on a respirator with leaking (3M 7000 series, check)4) Easy on/off (check)5) Cheap (check)6) Ladies love it (pending)Long story:I have been looking for my perfect safety goggles for a long time, and I have gone through a half dozen different models. I was feeling OK with one model for some time until I was sharpening a knife on my belt sander and a small piece of metal somehow shot around my goggles and hit me in the eye. Luckily it did not do any damage, but it was a reminder that properly fitting eye protection is extremely important. What you want most in safety goggles are a full wrap around your eyes (to prevent particles from entering). These do a great job in both respects, but I have had sawdust get through from a high velocity fan. Otherwise I have not noticed any penetration like I have with other goggles.Next, you want fog protection. Otherwise you won’t be able to use them very long. I have worn these for hours without any fogging, and only once had to wipe them down after painting for an hour on a very hot day.The next thing your goggles need to do is fit snugly (and securely) on any other equipment you may be wearing. I was wearing chemical splash protection goggles for a short period until I realized they were no longer secure if I were to wear a respirator. These fit great even with a half mask.Typically goggles come with either an elastic strap or sunglasses-style like these do. These can come on and off easily with one hand, while you would not be able to do so with a strap. A strap can potentially give you a tighter fit, but can also get tangled with your hair or other straps if you are wearing something like a respirator. Also, in time the strap will lose its elasticity and you will have to replace it.This is also a great price ($12). You will not find a better product for a better price at your hardware store (I’ve tried).Whether or not my girlfriend actually likes me walking around the house in these or is just amusing herself is still data in progress.

I just had a chance to try these out today, they worked flawlessly! It was 80* and humid today and I had no issues with fogging. I was mowing in very dusty conditions and I didn’t get a single speck of dirt in my eyes. normally I would have cleaned my eyes out 3-4 times on a day like today, so I call these a fantastic purchase.

Needed glasses that offer impact and dust protection and decided to try these #M Virtua glasses. It is quite hot and humid where I am working and was concerned about comfort. I could wear these all day they are so comfortable. As an added and important benefit – unlike a lot of safety glasses the Virtua glasses offer excellent vision. No distortion what so ever. They seem to have an anti-glare tint that really helps. Dust protection is superb and they are compact enough to not interfere with a dust mask. These glasses are so good I have taken them out of the workshop and into the yard. Will definitely buy again.

I bought these specifically for mowing at my work. The lot is fairly dry and the grass is patchy, which means LOTS of blowing dust and grit in blinding quantities. I wear contacts, but on days I have to mow I just wore my regular glasses, because the amount of grit that got into my eyes would be absolute murder if I had contact lenses in. However, even without contacts, it was a miserable ordeal mowing and getting grit and dust in my eyes. I began searching for gasketed safety glasses hoping to find a better solution, however the biggest drawback I saw on most models was fogging. Not wanting to trade one problem for another, I began searching reviews that specifically mentioned fogging and found that most other glasses out there share that as a common problem.Enter 3M. Reviews for this showed several people reporting that fogging was not an issue, and considering the price compared to other glasses, I figured these were a solid bet. I wore them for the first time mowing, and on one turn, a gust of wind blew a cloud of dust and grass right back into my face. I instinctively closed my eyes, but then opened them again figuring that this was the ultimate test. Not a single thing got under my lenses the entire time I was wearing these, and I never had a single issue with fogging either. What really impressed me however, was when I finished, I wetted a washcloth and wiped my face off. That little sucker came back COVERED in dirt, which meant that everything on that washcloth had the potential to have found its way into my eyes. Thanks to these glasses, none of that dirt ever made it that far.If I had to have a complaint of any kind, it would be that there’s not a yellow tinted lens option. I’d LOVE to have a pair of these for snowblowing in the winter, which the yellow tint would be ideal for.
