Our freezer door had been left cracked open and crystallized everything in it. After completely cleaning it out and drying it the rails on the freezer iced over and were completely stuck. After drying the compartment out again and trying to remove as much moisture as possible I bought this Petrol Gel and applied it to the rails and worked them back and forth. The Gel worked perfectly and kept water from freezing the rails shut and lubricated them so well the freezer has shut better than it ever has before. More than pleased with this product and saved me a call to the service man.

Kitchen-Aid needed some replacements parts and I decided to do it myself. I needed a food-grade lubricant for the internal mechanisms, and this is where I settled. This product WORKS and the price is solid. Between quality replacement parts and materials from Amazon and YouTube videos, I got the work done and the wife thinks I’m some kind of superhero for getting her mixer working again.

I replaced couple parts from the planetary device, the grease was dirty so cleaned up and replaced it with 1-2 once of this food grade lubricant and released, so far the mixer is working as it did when new.

I purchased this for my food slicers. The nice thing about it is that is does just what it is supposed to do – provide lubrication for areas that need it to function properly. I didn’t need both tubes, so I gave one to my son for his food slicer as well. It is nice that they came in a plastic wrapped package as it was quite greasy in the package and i needed to wipe them off before using them. I would prefer the color be clear instead of white, but that is just cosmetic and doesn’t affect how the lubricant works. I am pleased with this purchase. I did not rate the “flavor” as this is not applicable. But perhaps if they said color instead of flavor? It is unscented and has no scent. It comes out of the tube easily and you can spread it on the surfaces where you need it to help with.

Used in my Kitchenaid mixer after it started making some awful noise. Took about 1/2 to 3/4 of a tube to lube all of the gears. It is cheaper than buying the OEM grease and is a light, slightly opaque grease. The difference in color from the OEM made it easy to see where the old and new grease was.

Food grade grease. I haven’t tasted it. Hope I don’t. I used it to re-grease my Kitchenaid mixer after it sat underwater for about six hours when my basement flooded. The mixer worked after I dried it out, but it made a grinding sound I didn’t like. New grease, sound gone, cookies were great.

Stays where I put it. I put a trace of this on the rails of my gun slides with a little gun oil and in the actions of my ARs. No sloppiness whatsoever and zero stoppages over hundreds and hundreds of rounds. Doesn’t super-attract carbon, but you do have to work to get it off (and you should … it’s grease). I use it to keep my coffee grinder’s moving parts lubed. Use it on the shaft of my mini lathe where it does lose its initial consistency. Wipes right off with a tissue before I re-apply.

Learned that vasoline is not a good lubricant for swimming pool O-rings. It makes them swell and not fit back correctly or easily once the filter is seperated. This stuff has no petroleum products in it and works quite well for pools and shower/bath cartridge installations.

I have several older jukeboxes that I use this stuff on. It is great because it doesn’t break down, harden up, or turn black. I use this instead of white lithium grease and it holds up very well. I put a think layer on both sides of my wobble plates that the read-in and read-out controls travel on and it has help up remarkably well. I have also used it in the gripper arm mechanism instead of heavy grease and it works great. I know that this is not it’s original intended purpose, but it is some great stuff for what I am using it for. Also, it doesn’t smell like grease, which is nice.

I purchased this specifically to use for greasing the brewing unit of a Delonghi Magnifica. It works perfectly for that and the two tubes will likely last longer than the espresso machine. Very happy!
